We're excited to announce that Jen, our flight nurse at LifeFlight 3 in Indiana County, has been recognized as our Flight Team Member of the Month! With 20 years of ICU experience, Jen brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to our team.

Jen's dedication to patient care is truly inspiring. She goes above and beyond, as evidenced by her volunteer work with local students and her thoughtful gesture for a patient who was one of the original Vietnam flight nurses.

Jen's colleagues and patients alike appreciate her positive attitude and empathy.
She always makes sure to show her gratitude to her team and kindness to all of her patients.

LifeFlight is proud to announce Dawn Marsh as our Team Member of the Month! A dedicated flight nurse at our Canonsburg Base, Dawn has been a vital member of our team for three years.

With an impressive 32 years of experience as a RN and 28 years in EMS, Dawn is widely recognized as one of our pediatric specialist. Her extensive background in Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Pediatric ICU, and Neonatal ICU has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional care to our young patients.

Dawn's passion for emergency medicine and her desire to fly with LifeFlight have driven her career. Even after three decades of providing patient care, she continues to find joy and fulfillment in helping others. At LifeFlight, she values the collaborative and supportive environment that fosters continuous improvement in patient care.

One of the most notable aspects of Dawn's work is her ability to connect with patients and their families on a personal level. Her empathy and compassion have been instrumental in providing comfort and support during difficult times. Recently, Dawn's care for two pediatric patients in a short period led to heartfelt thank you cards and pictures from the families. The parents expressed their deep gratitude for the exceptional care and compassion shown to their children and themselves during the flights.

Congratulations, Dawn, on your well-deserved recognition as Team Member of the Month! Your commitment to excellence and compassion make you an invaluable asset to our program.

Friday the 13th didn’t frighten away our participants at the annual Breaking Clays with LifeFlight! We are just finishing up at the Nemacolin Field Club, where the weather could not have been more perfect! Thank you to all our teams today for a safe and fun event!

LifeFlight was invited to attend the Washington Township VFC - Westmoreland open house event on Sunday September 8, 2024 from 1200-1400. It was our honor to attend. With 1.5 years at LifeFlight under her belt, Ashley has already made an incredible impact with her passion for learning and her commitment to exceptional patient care.

A Butler, PA native and a 4th generation RN, Ashley's journey from Butler Hospitals Emergency Department to LifeFlight showcases her lifelong dedication to nursing, Whether she's tackling the most critical cases or serving as LifeFlight 2's safety committee representative, her dedication and trustworthiness are second to none.

Outside of her professional life, Ashley loves spending time outdoors with her husband Ryan and her chocolate lab Gus. She dreams of hiking in every National Park in the US, so far she has 18 parks checked off her bucket list!

Ashley, your enthusiasm and hard work inspire us all. Thank you for being such a vital part of our team and for always striving to improve and provide the best care possible. You make a world of difference!
