Doing this setup is a labor of love every time. How I enjoy market season when I get to do this several days a week, engage face-to-face with the community, and be part of the local food economy. Cassi is at the Saturday Market till 1 and I’m at the till noon. The breeze is blowing and the first part of the day should be nice and cool!

It’s a nice cool morning for marketing and things are still dry—for now! Stop by and see Cassi or me at or till 1 and 12, respectively.

I’m one of those freaks who loves the weather we’ve been having. Find me soaking up the heat till noon at the . Molly is graciously braving the temps and filling in for Cassi at the Saturday Market till 1. Vinegars ONLY in Bloomfield; it gets too hot there in the lot and out of concern for the olive oil and bottles—which can break when the product inside gets really warm—we left them behind. Need any this weekend? I’m happy to deliver later today!

Today and every day we give thanks to this guy for keeping the sailing smooth. I am endlessly fortunate to be on this parenting journey with my husband. It’s also worth mentioning that he has faithfully held up his end of the bargain when he told me, almost 13 years ago, that he’d keep the books if I bought the olive oil business, so if you enjoy my products, you can thank him for that!

And then there’s my own beloved dad, who’s been one of my biggest cheerleaders all my life. I can always count on him for loving messages of support and I hope I always make him proud.

One month ago the girls and I were on a flight to LaGuardia, en route to Boston to see our favorite band, and I was seated next to Pam and her husband, Phil, a wonderful couple from Youngstown, Ohio. On Saturday, Pam drove the 70+ miles to visit me at my market and it made my day. Friends are everywhere, folks 🧡

With strawberry season in full swing, I’ve made sure to bring along chocolate balsamic to markets. It’s not a vinegar I use often but it is 🌟FABULOUS🌟 drizzled over fresh berries and I recommend you giving it a try 🤎
