In light of the recent devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, we’ve shifted our focus from the Cutting Cost program to assisting affected families. We are seeking volunteers and donations to distribute gluten-free food to those in need.
How You Can Help:
Be a Local Point Person: Volunteer to receive and distribute gluten-free products in your community.
Be a Volunteer Travel Angel: Help transport food from our warehouse in Laramie, WY, to local point persons. We will coordinate to match you with a volunteer near the impacted area.
Make a Cash Donation: Support the effort with a monetary contribution. 100% of donations received in October will go directly to this cause.
Companies – Donate Food: If you represent a company, please consider donating gluten-free products to assist in the relief efforts.
Our team will ensure Travel Angels are connected with local point persons to streamline distribution.
Together, we can make a difference for families impacted by these storms. Let’s show how much we care and how big of an impact we can make together.
Channon Quinn, CEO
If you can assist in any of these ways, please email us at [email protected].

with the added benefits of medocinal mushrooms -a win-win for coffee lovers
Here are some fun facts about coffee to celebrate International Coffee Day on October 1st:
Origin Story: Coffee is believed to have originated in Ethiopia. The legend goes that a goat herder named Kaldi discovered coffee when he noticed his goats became energetic after eating the berries from a certain tree.
Second Most Traded Commodity: After crude oil, coffee is the second most traded commodity in the world. It’s a huge part of the global economy, with millions of people relying on it for their livelihoods.
Varieties of Coffee: There are over 100 different species of coffee plants, but the two most common types are Arabica (which makes up about 60-70% of the world's coffee) and Robusta.
Health Benefits: Moderate coffee consumption has been linked to various health benefits, including improved cognitive function, a lower risk of certain diseases (like Parkinson's and Type 2 diabetes), and a potential increase in longevity.
Coffee and the Environment: Coffee plants can take up to five years to produce their first crop. They thrive in specific climates and are sensitive to environmental changes, making sustainable farming practices crucial.
Espresso Myths: Contrary to popular belief, espresso is not a type of coffee bean. It refers to a brewing method where hot water is forced through finely-ground coffee, resulting in a strong, concentrated shot.
Coffee Around the World: Different countries have unique coffee traditions. For example, in Italy, coffee is often served as a small shot of espresso, while in Sweden, coffee breaks (called "fika") are a cherished social ritual.
Decaf Process: The process of decaffeinating coffee can be done using various methods, including the Swiss water process, which uses water to extract caffeine without using chemicals.
World's Largest Coffee Producer: Brazil is the largest coffee producer in the world, contributing about one-third of the global coffee supply. Other top producers include Vietnam, Colombia, and Ethiopia.
Coffee Culture: Some cultures have unique coffee customs. For instance, in Turkey, coffee is often brewed in a pot called a cezve and served unfiltered, leaving grounds at the bottom of the cup.
Celebrate International Coffee Day with a cup of your favorite brew! ☕️
