new flounder special ‼️

Samegawa Karei, or Sharkfin Flounder, from Hokkaido, Japan has a faint umami sweetness while having a pretty good fat content! It pairs well with our sushi rice and is a must try 😋

we hope everyone’s been enjoying this great, sunny weather! we’ll be opening patio in the next week or two, so keep an eye out 👀

2022 was a really exciting year for Mola!! We added lots of new food & drink specials—wagyu beef, Hadate uni, Lemon on a Rock, and Mola Old Fashioned to name a few! We even started serving omakase and welcomed new staff into the Mola family 🥰❤️

we have Medai (Bluefish from Japan, red Hokkaido uni and Santa Barbara uni, Shirauo (Japanese Icefish), and Awabi (Abalone) for this weekend ✨

Shirauo is one of the oldest fishes served in the Edomae style, and it’s taste is very light and fresh! the Awabi is cooked abalone with a slight sweetness and umami taste 😋
