Winter Diva 2023-24 Women's Specific Equipment Survey There is a trend in the Snowsports industry to reduce SKUs by backing away from Women's Specific products and favoring Unisex products. We would like to know what you think about this. This relates specifically to Skis and Ski Boots only - not clothing, accessories or snowboardgear.

This years event will be held at the South Hills location from 10am-12pm on December 3. This is a private shopping experience with Winter Divas ONLY!! There will be various discounts throughout the entire store during this time. When the store opens to the public at 12pm be sure to keep your name tag on so we can discretely give you your discount. This is a great time to get ahead of your Christmas shopping & your personal wishlist!

Willi Klein 1933-2023

With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, the Klein family announces the passing of Wilhelm (Willi) Klein, father, opa, brother, and friend. Born in Kufstein, Austria, on March 15, 1933, he celebrated his 90th birthday with family and friends. He skied until he was 85.
Willi grew up in wartime Europe and spent his early years working in the family painting business. He was an accomplished athlete playing for the local pro soccer team for 10 years as well as winning the city ski championships 8 times. He was always in motion. He would work in Switzerland and catch the overnight train to play in a soccer game and then return on the evening train to go back to work.
In his early twenties, Willi moved on from ski racing and attended the Kruckenhauser Ski Instructors Academy and went on to teach skiing in L**h and Mayrhofen, Austria. In 1960 he came to the United States to teach skiing in New Hampshire, where he met his wife and partner, Linda.
Willi was the owner and founder of Willi’s Ski and Snowboard Shops. He changed, inspired, and influenced thousands of skiers and snowboarders throughout his life. He went on to open his first Willi’s ski shop in 1970 in Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania, which became one of America's largest premier ski and snowboard shops, winning the best ski shop in the United States 3 times. Together they built a business and family but he never lost touch with his Austrian roots. Willi had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and adventure. He was often spending his spare time researching topics of interest and reading books. He loved cooking and experimenting with his recipes…perfecting his techniques and then improving on perfection.
Willi leaves behind his wife, Linda, two adoring grandchildren, Dylan and Anna, and two sons - Greg and Christopher, daughter-in-law - Kjerstin, and brother, Fred Klein.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the Spring of 2023.

It has been a weird season weather-wise but we actually had some amazing days considering what we had to work with!

Thank you so much for your hard work on Demo Day - we got a lot of great feedback. If you have not turned in your reviews, please do so ASAP.

Due to the weather and the travel season, we are no longer officially meeting to ski/snowboard together this season but with any luck, we hope to get the surveys posted that we’d originally intended to do - please keep an eye out for them.

Hopefully some of you will continue to get together - we would love to see pictures!

Thank you again for a great season and look for the Special Invite to the Pre Season Sale and our 2023-23 Kick-Off event in Early December!

In case you didn’t hear the sad news….

Yea girls! Looks like we are starting off strong!

So the Willi’s Labor Day Pre Season Sale has wrapped up in Pittsburgh for another year. Last night we locked the doors at our Seven Springs location and all of the staff is taking a much needed break before we get the stores set up for Walk-In shopping.

If you missed it this year don’t worry – there will be lots of great new stuff coming into the stores throughout the fall!

We plan to start the Winter Diva 2022-23 season with the annual Mimosas in the Morning shopping event in our Pittsburgh Areas stores on December 4, 2022. For those of you outside of the Pittsburgh Area, shopping is always available on our website and we are happy to provide personal assistance should you need help.

On-Snow events will start January 11, 2023. We expect to have some 'normal' programing back this season. At Seven Springs, we will continue to meet on the slopes at 10am at the PBE!

Until then, pray for snow and hope to see you there or on the slopes!
