When you’re on book tour, you sometimes have no choice but to grab a meal at an airport. I was hardly looking forward to my sandwich at Bar Symon in the Cleveland airport, but at least the wait staff was very nice. Well, wasn’t I in in for a surprise. I had one of the best sandwiches of my life: turkey that seemed liked it had JUST been roasted, avocado, and some incredible mayo on multi-grain bread. I’m thinking of flying back to Cleveland just to get another one.

We opened our first airport location, The To***co Gourmet, in 1982 at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Fast forward 40 years, we now operate in Cleveland, Akron-Canton, and Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airports.

As the next “thank you” in our 40th Anniversary appreciation campaign, we celebrated with a customer all too often forgotten in our business, our airport partners and their teams! On December 6th we celebrated 40 years with a 40% discount to every airport employee.
