One of the things that has really helped me improve my artwork over the years is studying other artists work. There have been many times when I'll watch and re-watch a painting reel over and over again to see how that artist did a certain thing. It's so fun to study art this way! If you're interested in learning how to paint, I encourage you to take a moment when a beautiful piece of art catches your eye and really STUDY it. Where is it darker? Where is it lighter? Is it done in a loose style or a more realistic style? Did they start with a pencil sketch or just start sweeping paint across the paper? And then TRY it! It's okay if it doesn't turn out "just right" the first time (or the 100th time)! With patience and practice you can totally do this! 🥰🎨
