As summer comes to an end, and we’re headed into fall, many of my blondes are coming in wanting to transition into a BRONDE (not blonde, not brown) tone.

👉🏼Reverse balayage has been my most frequently requested service, as I use it to bring down the root melt, and add in lots of lowlights for depth and dimension.

👉🏼The cool thing is, no lightener is used when doing this over a previous blonde, only a gentle color, so your hair can take a break from the bleach for a bit!

My camera definitely picked up more red tones but in real life her hair is the most gorgeous shade of vibrant magenta. So freaking stunning on this beautiful girl 😍

Reverse balayage is my favorite way to tone down blondes and create more of a lived in dimensional brunette. Perfect for those who wanna go darker for fall but want to keep some of the blonde for dimension.

Prom was last night. 💃 Obsessed with how Alicia’s hair came out! This style is just so dreamy. 🥰

Alexis wanted to add some interest and dimension to her dark brown hair but wanted to stay a brunette. Introducing the ✨expensive brunette✨ as we call it.
Full teasylage but I keep you in the brunette family just with a lot of added contrast and dimension which will look beautiful on her natural curls as well.
This is such a low maintenance look as we melted and blended everything so well, it’s seamless as it grows in there will be no harsh lines!

Transitioned Jess from her solid blonde baby lites, to a lived in dimensional rooted blonde. This new look will be so much less maintenance for her and I won’t need to see her as often as the roots will grow in nice and seamlessly with no harsh lines. Loving this new, slightly darker version of Jess!😍

A hair trend I can get on! Been blonde, red and currently black ☺️

I’m LOVING the coppery tones that are trending right now. Coppers and warm blondes are IN right now and I’m here for it!🙌
For todays transformation, we did a full head of teasy lights with a root melt to give this girl the low maintenance grow out she was looking for so she won’t have hard lines as it grows out. We glossed it with a beautiful light copper tone to pull it all together 🫶

Going into this I knew it was going to be a big color correction project because of the previous hair history she had when she came to me. So I had great intentions of filming clips of the entire process of this one to make a good video of the process! Well no surprise I got started and never remembered to get my phone out and grab some content of the actual process. Oh well 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
Brittany was an absolute pleasure to hang out with tho and a trooper to sit through the long process! And her hair came out STUNNING! We’re OBSESSED!! 😍😍

The 9 hour process of this color correction, condensed down to a short video is coming soon…. Just as soon as I have time to sit down and edit my hundreds of processing videos and turn them into a short clip😭

Checklist for yesterday’s project:

👉🏼Cover pesky greys coming in
👉🏼Deepen base and add depth and richness
👉🏼Add contrasting ribbons of caramel for dimension
👉🏼Low maintenance root melt for soft grow out
👉🏼Cut off dead and add in lots of flowy layers and bangs

👉🏼Not planned on obstacle. 🤦🏼‍♀️ BOX DYE. Seriously ladies STOP USING BOX COLOR. I swear it’s the bane of my existence and keeps following me around with each new client. It makes our job to give you the hair of your dreams SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT and can take a toll on your hair as well, also causing uneven lift and unpredictable results.
Do us and yourselves a huge favor and resist the urge to grab that box….please!
