Baby boy will be here before we know it, and thankfully I have most of everything I need for his arrival EXCEPT for disposable items like diapers and wipes!

Mega volume lashes STILL need to be isolated!!!

Mega volume is an advanced technique for a reason! It's HARD to get skinny bases and fluffy wide fans. What happens is the bases end up being way too big and they take up too much space to be attached to only one lash. So clumps or 3-4+ lashes become stuck together.
Unfortunately this is the work we've been seeing come into the shop lately. Ladies please pay close attention to your eyelashes after you have a full set or a fill. You should be able to comfortably brush through them, wash them, blink, squeeze your eyes shut.... If you're experiencing pain discomfort or itchiness from your eyelashes there is probably some build up and poor isolation going on..
it can be very difficult to tell if lashes are done poorly at first glance. Whether it be by instagram posts or on a friend or on yourself, it isn't always blatantly obvious that lashes were not applied properly. So i would recommend grabbing some tweezers and closely examining your lashes. Look for lashes stuck together, clumps at the base and excess glue. You should be able to brush the lashes from side to side and they should move freely.
Also your artist should be checking their work during and at the end of each service.. going through and checking each eyelash for proper isolation. Stickies can happen to all lash artists, but it's up to the artist to make sure their client isn't walking out the door of their space with lashes stuck together (stickies).
Moral of the story is be aware of what's on your eyes, it can be very damaging if lashes like this are left on for excessive periods of time.
Isolation is the first building block for us lash artists, you can make beautiful fans but if you're consistently letting clients leave with clumps of stickies like this, you're doing your them a disservice.
