It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that the owner, creator, designer of deRose Promos and my mom Kathy DeRose has passed away. She received a recent diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer stage 4 and and unfortunately had to leave us a few weeks later. She fought so hard and bravely, she wanted to beat this so badly. Her husband, son & I her daughter were with her almost every moment is her last weeks and held her hand tightly in the last hours.

deRose Promos will live on! Her wish was for me to keep it going while she was unwell so she come back to it. Actually she always wanted us to work together, while although I helped in her business occasionally and we had a great mother daughter relationship. I didn’t think that working together would strengthen that relationship, probably because we are too much alike. But I am taking over the reigns and keeping deRose Promos alive!!!

She loved her business and clients so much! She was very creative and this business allowed her to be so, more than her previous career as a computer programmer did.

Her passion was helping small businesses and non-profits find affordable promotional products to promote their businesses and services. She was named Women Business of the year for Placentia in 2018.
