This is a page for supporters of Columbus and Franklin County Metro Par Much of the 1,037-acre park was once covered with farmland.
Glacier Ridge was named for the end moraine or glacial debris left behind when the glaciers retreated some 12,000 to 17,000 years ago. Visitors can traverse a boardwalk through the Honda Wetlands Area or climb a 25-foot observation tower to see waterfowl and other animals. Walk, jog or bike the paved 3 mile Marshhawk trail, or the paved 2.5 mile Ironweed trail (not a loop so out and back is 5 mile

The winner from Glacier Ridge will be submitted to go against the fat squirrel winners from the other parks to battle for the ultimate fat squirrel crown!

ATTENTION PARK VISITORS:
Starting tonight (Oct 1st) the park closes at 8pm.
The hours are now 6:30-8pm.
Tonight we are showing Migration (2023) in the park for FREE!
The weather predicts light rain tonight, so we will be providing a canopy for shelter, but we encourage guests to bring their own tent, canopy, umbrella, or poncho to keep yourself dry!
The movie starts at dark with a craft available starting at 7pm. Meet us at the wind and solar lot!
Note: The movie will only be cancelled if there is lighting after 7:30 pm.
