The season is ripe for Peach Cobbler or Apple Crisp. We carry a line of mixes from Calhoun Bend Mill that are so quick and easy and require few ingredients. Come on out. It's worth the drive to the country!

August 5-10, 2024 Are those prices in your deli per pound? My favorite question and the answer is YES! Specials this week are Smoked Turkey, $5.69 lb and Colby Cheese, $3.39 lb. Smoked Turkey is also my favorite to add to a BLT. Good summer eating! New this week are APPLES - Gala and Ginger Gold. Can it be that time already? July 22-27, 2024. To answer the trivia from last week, each corn bin holds approximately 50 doz ears and we sell 8 bins on a good summer Saturday! You all love YUTZY'S sweet corn!! We are in the prime growing season and we have a wide variety of produce in The Corn Crib. Besides Sweet Corn, local favorites are cantaloupe, watermelon, tomatoes, green beans, peaches, and blueberries. Come in the market and visit our deli for fresh lunch meat and cheese. Strawberry season has come to a close so we no longer have strawberry shortcake. But the good news is starting Tuesday July 2nd we will be replacing that with fresh baked hot fudge brownie sundaes!! We started delicious shakes last week with any of our 8 flavors of ice cream! And we have our many flavors of fry pie sundaes(strawberry, blackberry, peach, apple, cherry, red raspberry). The opening of The Corn Crib was a huge success and Mimi's Sweet Treats is open on Fridays and Saturdays, 11-4, just waiting to serve you some Homemade Strawberry Shortcake! We had a great first day! Thank you to all who came to see us. Thank you Dorothy for the great shortcake recipe, Renita and her bakers from the Red Hen for the delicious fry pies! Thank you Nancy, Zach, Greg, and the rest of our employees for all of your help in getting us ready! Alea and Trenton did great on their first day!
