7th Grader, Anjeel Shrestha performed on his saxophone for Art and Culture Day at the Nepali American Center in Mount Prospect, IL on October 27! Great job representing Murphy Music, Anjeel!

Join us tomorrow night at the Board of Education Public Forum; 7-8:30pm at Plank Jr High School.

This event is a valuable opportunity for our community to learn about our strategic planning process as we shape the future of our district together.

During the forum attendees will:
- Learn about the milestones and timeline of the strategic journey.
- Choose three of five focus areas to actively participate in learning and discussion.
- Offer interest in areas for continued engagement throughout the planning process.

Centered in collaboration, the forum is a chance for our community to actively participate in developing a plan and stay informed.

Some members of the music department headed to Chicago today for a day of adventure! We visited the Field Museum, saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Cloud Gate (The Bean), and ate some delicious pizza at Gino's East! Thanks to Entourage Management for organizing a great day for our students! Thank you to Mrs. Campasano, Mrs. Clausen, Ms. Cryder, and Mrs. Walsh for chaperoning!

We're excited to announce our Spring Musical this year will be MOANA JR.

Build Your Own Self Driving Car with mBotS
Engineer your own self - driving car using the mBot S robat and learn the principles of robatics and coding. This hands-on course encourages creativity and introduces automation and mechanical design. Each student will have the option to purchase and take home an mBot S!

Session 2: November 25 - December 16 (Weekly)
Interactive Game Design with CyberPi
Students design games that interact with teh real world using CyberPi's sensors and inputs in this engaging course. Students will be challenged to think creatively about game interaction and programming, while developing unique and interactive games. Every student will hvae the option to purchase their CyberPi to showcase their newfound skill.
