You can pick up a key lime pie anytime Monday through Sunday, BUT if you’d like to just donate to Pies for Eyes this week, we’ll deliver the delicious Key Lime Pies to the Police Station, Fire Station, or Hospital of your choice in your name. The first year we delivered to 17, last year it was 23 local first responder organizations! It’s become one of our favorite days bringing these out to these heroes for you! Call 815-230-2790. Bad news is our main walk in food cooler broke on New Years Day, the one of four days we are closed all year (umm what the heck 2024). So worse news is we didn’t discover this until coming back to work today & had to spend the day throwing everything out💔. Everything. ( Déjà vu to that time the power went out on all of Lockport street in 2020 video throwback). GOOD NEWS is we have talented friends that got it all fixed by this afternoon, back to temp, the chefs are vigorously making sauces, & the heroes of fresh seafood & cheese distribution gods will be arriving to restock us until we are all fully replenished again by hopefully lunch Wednesday. I’m so sorry to the tables that were surprised with a limited menu today, most everything was in that walk in cooler. Thank you for your understanding, everyone has been so supportive that came in during this time of refrigeration confrontation, we appreciate it so very much & can’t wait to knock your socks off Wednesday 1/3/24💜💛💚 PS: 2024, can we please be friends 😁
