A1534 MacBook 12” 2015

Llega apagada con consumo en fuente de 440mA aproximadamente.

Mido todo el estado S0 y mido fuentes de PCH y CPU y todo en sus valores correctos.

Decido usar la cámara térmica a ver si había algo diferente que pudiese diferenciar y pues el CPU/PCH calentando como loco, sin embargo con sus voltajes bien.

Y chequeo las RAM y veo que tenuamente calientan pero algo que podríamos decir que es normal, sin embargo decidí aplicar calor por 5 segundos a 360 y a mi sorpresa la Mac enciende.

Por lo que decidí cambiar RAM pero tenía una marca diferente por lo que me tocó mover resistencias y chequear un par de veces hasta que la maquinó quedó al 100%.

Lo más importante es que cuando nos quede un CPU en alta, chequemos las RAM.

I decide to use the thermal camera to see if there was something different that could differentiate and then the CPU/PCH warming up like crazy, however with its voltages well.

And I check the RAM and I see that they are dimly heated but something that we could say is normal, however I decided to apply heat for 5 seconds at 360 and to my surprise the Mac turns on.

So I decided to change RAM but it had a different brand so I had to move resistances and check a couple of times until the machine was 100%.

The most important thing is that when we have a high CPU, we check the RAM.

A1398 15” 2015 MacBook Pro Retina.

Me la traen con que no carga. Pero llega apagada, al conectar la fuente solo me muestra 55mA de consumo.

Miro y tengo luz de cargador, lo que me indica que tengo PP3V42_G3H y que U7100 y SMC me validan cargador al menos en primera instancia.

Mido PPBUS_G3H y la tengo en 1.5V y listo ya sabemos porque no carga, pero al conectar batería con carga si enciende, entonces sabemos que está relacionado al U7100 quien si está encendiendo y haciendo comparaciones porque si tengo luz en cargador.

Para no matarme decidí seguir la línea PPDCIN_G3H paso a paso hasta que se convierte en PPBUS_G3H y nada más que consegui 3 resistencias regulares y una resistencia shunt desvalorizada.

SE FUE!!!

Han sido muchas las Mac que me han llegado con muerte súbita. El cliente no recuerda haberla actualizado, mojado no la dejo cargando toda la noche, la batería en buen estado, no se ha dado golpe fuerte y sin embargo el equipo no enciende.

Después de medir todos los valores y chequear todo lo necesario para que enciende este presente la máquina sigue sin encender.

Al tratar de flashear con el Apple Configurator en restauración da Error 9 y en Revivir da Error 6, según la información en internet esto se debe a problemas con CPU o PCH y asi las he tratado.

En par de ocasiones he leído y hablado y la conclusión que he tenido aún sin conseguir ni un solo corto ni problema en tarjeta es que el T2 se ha dañado.

Como todo lo nuevo ahorita hay un furor por cambiar los T2.

He probado en varias máquinas que el motivo razón y cause de la gran mayoría de estas fallas, de estos errores se debe a una falla con el Eeprom SoC o el Eeprom del T2.

En ocasiones tiene una línea en corto en otras ocasiones las 2 en corto o en algunos casos ninguna línea en corto y sin embargo no funciona.

Lo importante de este caso es que he comprobado que este Eeprom se puede cambiar de otra máquina del mismo número de tarjeta, no he probado hasta el momento que se puede sacar de otros modelos diferentes, posteare sobre esto mas adelante.

Espero esto les sirva y reparemos pad de máquinas más.
