Doing a Paint Correction and Ceramic Pro Ion on this used 5 Series!
We got in a brand new 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Defender, and our client wanted the very best: Full Matte paint protection film with the gloss black trim protected as well. The matte gray with the gloss black builds a nice contrast, and really makes this Defender stand out. The best part is that it's fully protected from rock chips, scratches, UV damage, and chemical damage.

I mean, how hard can it be? Clean the glass, lay the tint, squeegee, and you're done right?
Boy there's a lot that can go wrong with each of those steps. Great tint starts with a great clean. Shaping and forming the tint to fit the glass comes next. Handling the tint when installation is crucial too; one crease in the film and that piece is toast (as well as your $$$ each time you mess up film). Oh, and if you get water everywhere... Your electronics might go bad.
Long story short, leave it to the pros.

Double trouble at the shop!
We're the Civic Type R/Integra Type S premier shop here in Dallas!
The client (left) came in for a maintenance wash after getting an application of Ceramic Pro Ion a few weeks ago. After just a basic wash, the car's gloss looks like it never left our shop!

Our first not five-star review. I am genuinely not upset by this, but humbled.
I always say, it's easy to give a recommendation when things go smooth, but it's when things don't go smooth that you find out the integrity of a company.
The PPF on our client's car was up to industry standard, but he honestly just wasn't happy with it. We removed the whole thing, polished out the paint, and applied Ceramic Pro Ion it per our client's request at no additional charge. I would've happily just redone the PPF as well, but our client preferred the look of the coating over the PPF.
We always strive to do the right thing, even when things don't go our way. Ultimately, we're in the people business, not the car business.
Our client got a hook up on some high quality Ceramic IR window tint from us on the house to help smooth this out. At the end of the day, the truck turned out great and our client was happy overall.

To give you some perspective, just the wash took two hours to do. Some might say that's ridiculous, but we call it thorough. We walk you through how much work goes into our Ceramic Pro Ultimate Armor, which consists of a full Ceramic Pro Ion application, plus Paint Protection Film over the full front end to protect from rock chips and scratches.
There's a cheap way to do this, then there's the right way. You can guess which way we sway.

The goal of PPF is to not even know its there. A lot goes into that. We put in the extra effort to disassemble certain parts, and tuck when applicable to hide less edges. A very detailed and thorough cleaning and prep of the panel. Any dust, dirt, or contaminates will be seen and felt through the film. Bubbles left behind will also be visible. So it is very important to make sure the film looks good before the adhesive cures and sets.

Leather will preserve the factory look and keep it looking that way for much longer. It is almost as if it slows the aging process. The coating will prevent contaminants from staining the substrate.
It is important to have a clean and in good condition before installing the coating. We use a steamer to open the pores of the leather to get the dirt and grime from deep within the leather.

When cleaning leather you need to be extra carful not to damage it, since it is a delicate material. Harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbing can lead to damage. So we like to use steam, which the heat allows us to open the pores of the leather to get a very gentle deep clean. Leaving the leather feeling clean and like leather should. No greasy dressings, just clean. The moisture from the steam also helps prevent the leather from cracking due to dryness.
This GR Corolla came in for our Ultimate Armor package, which consists of full front paint protection film, followed by an application of Ceramic Pro Ion over the whole car.
This package covers the whole car in a solid shield of protection; rock chip and scratch resistance up front, and the whole car in chemical protection from the coating.

The use of an extractor comes in handy when you have some carpet with some tough stains. How it works is it shoots hot water deep within the fibers. Then the vacuum sucks up the water. Resulting in a clean all the way through. Not needed for evey car but comes in handy when it is.

We have a plethora of buffers, one useful one is our nano polisher. This is one versatile little machine. Thanks to several features, different functional movements and the ability to change the backing plate and attachments. Meaning this tool can tackle all sorts of jobs including polishing, sanding, and cleaning all in one.The main advantage is just its size, giving use the ability to get areas and spaces we just would not be able to get with a standard polisher.
