Texas Dental Association Meeting 2024
The team had a blast this week in San Antonio learning and teaching all things dentistry! We are so blessed to have a team that is committed to continuing education in order to better serve our patients!
Transformation Tuesday - Invisalign
Our patient came in stating she did not like the way her smile looked because the lower teeth were "crooked." After a thorough examination, it was determined that Invisalign could be the perfect solution! We are so excited for her to start her Invisalign journey and look at these results in just 6 months! 🦷❤😁

Transformation Tuesday - Porcelain Veneers
In dentistry, every little detail matters! Our wonderful patient came in and wanted a smile transformation. His main concerns were the size, shape, and color of the teeth. In addition, he wanted to eliminate the small gap between the front two teeth. We were able to design a smile that addressed all aesthetic concerns as well as improve the functionality to reduce future wear! A beautiful result and a happy patient!

Transformation Tuesday - Filling Edition
Amalgam (silver filling material) is becoming less utilized in the field of dentistry. Over time, amalgam restorations can separate from the tooth structure and leak causing cavities to form underneath. One of our amazing patients came in to replace these old, leaking restorations with tooth-colored, composite fillings and was very pleased with the results!

Transformation Tuesday - Single Tooth Edition
One of our amazing patients came in with sensitivity on a lower molar. The tooth presented with severe wear from clenching and grinding! We made a brand new crown for her and also a night guard to wear while she sleeps to prevent this from happening again! So important to treat the underlying cause and not just the symptom! 🦷❤

-All of the staff was wonderful! They made me feel very comfortable! I really loved being offered a blanket! Lynn also offered me headphones, which her assistant found for me. (I had left mine in the car) You probably have your reasons as to why you don't have them, but I love the idea of having a movie to watch, while you are having your teeth worked on...maybe that's just supposed to be for impatient kids! lol I guess I AM ONE! Thank you for being so accommodating!
-Dr. McDonald and all the staff assisting were terrific. Everyone went overboard making me comfortable. Don't change a thing!
-Lisa is delightful! Dr Mac is principled, caring and exquisitely knowledgable - 3 great qualities! In a perfect world, there would be more opportunities to schedule appts outside of standard work hours. A couple of evenings til 7 or til noon on Sat. Good attendance is preferable for job security. I'm telling everyone I know to switch to him!
