We started with virgin hair and got here with only one full Balayombre session and 2 bleach washes!

Bleach wash is when I just apply bleach all over and “wash” it in your hair quickly. We do bleach wash during her toner refresh sessions. It lifts up to a level lighter. Not suitable for all hair scenarios.

>maintenance appointment you can book every 4-6 weeks in between blonding sessions. You may also add grey coverage or a root smudge to help blend in any growth lines.

Reverse Balayage
(on a fully bleached head)

Reverse balayage simply means adding lowlights instead of highlights! We then choose a new (usually darker) toner and tone those hair that weren’t lowlighted. This creates a more dimensional look and tones down existing blonde.

It is a great service to book when you’re getting too blonde, or want to go back dark but not fully commit to your natural color yet.

Today is my first Mother’s Day without my mama. I pulled up videos and pictures so I can see her smile and remember our short time together. I knew this year that I needed to do something for someone else’s mama. The heartfelt emails I received during nominations brought me to tears.

Thank you Linda, for sharing your sweet mama Lan with me this Mother’s Day. Lan taught me many words of wisdom during our hair session.

She comforted me with this story…
When she was my age, she was afraid to die because she still had small children and worried who will take care of them. But she raised her children up and now they have their own families. She’s no longer afraid because she knows her children will continue to be loved by their children. Lan, thank you for assuring me that my mama probably felt the same way when she knew she had little time left with us. Lan and I talked about how each chapter in our lives prepare us for the next one. I enjoyed our time together so much 💜🩷

NEW HOURS of Operation 🚨

CWM is coming up on her 5 year anniversary. In those 5 years I had to start from scratch 2x! I worked very hard, building up my clientele twice, figuring things out along the way, and working endlessly to build a successful small business. I want to thank you all for your patience these last few years as I tweaked my business into what it is today.

It’s been a long time coming…I’ve worked every Saturday and most Sundays for the last 15 years. And just know this decision wasn’t made lightly, and will probably keep me up at night for a few more months 😆 but….

🥁 I am no longer working weekends!

My new schedule is as follow:

Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm

(Effective May 20th, 2024)
*All weekends are fully booked in May.

Saturdays and Sundays may be requested for color appointments only and there will be a $50 surcharge on top of your total service for weekend requests.

I am so excited to finally be home with my babies on the weekend and have more adventures with them. I’ve been trying to find my work/life balance, and I believe this is it.

This does not affect any existing appointments already booked. Thank y’all for always supporting me through it all. 🙏🏼

It’s me, again 😁

Since moving to Texas, and being away from family and other distractions, I’ve really learned a lot about myself. I recently discovered that I am 💯 an empath. I might even be a little neuro-spicy (I’m a little weird and talk with my hands 😆). I do not like eye contact that lasts more than a minute (Is there something in my teeth? Makeup smears? And why are you staring at me for so long?)

But something I also learned is I do not like when I disappoint my clients. I love honesty and I want to hear from you but know I also can’t sleep at night when you do. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am also honest with my clients right from the get go to avoid any misunderstandings. But sometimes, your results just wasn’t what you had imagined and I hate having to be the one that caused you to feel that way.

My promise to all of my clients from now on is to do better. I will have more thorough consultations with both old and new clients. I will do better at understanding your visions and also explaining hair lingo so you understand from a technical standpoint. My biggest assumption is you understand my technical reasons, so I apologize for that.

I am working on diagrams and photos so that I can do my best to visually show you (I’m also a visual person). Because I do not provide every hair service that’s out there, if you decide that the services I provide may not be right for you, it’s okay to walk away from your appointment.

Salons used to be known to be able to provide whatever service the client requests when they walk in. It’s no longer that way since most of us are shifting to specializing. But I promise to make sure we are in full understanding and agreement before any service.
