The PT/OT will act as the Lead Therapist for Physical Therapy Now Franchise. As the Lead PT, you are responsible for evaluating and determining a plan of care for each patient. You will also serve as a resource for the PTA administering treatment protocols while overseeing and ensuring certain treatment milestones are being met

DUTIES OF PHYSICAL / OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Administer a thorough evaluation utilizing tools and technology provided to diagnose the patient ailment and formulate a proper rehabilitation program.
Administer manual exercises, massage or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, decrease or prevent deformity.
Record prognosis, treatment, response and progress in patient's chart or computer database.
As a clinician, lead staff and give technical direction with evaluations and treatment of patients
Discharge patient from physical therapy when projected outcomes have been attained and provide for follow-up care or referrals.
Stay up to date on continuing education and attend continuing education courses.
Understand and know PTN Vision, Mission and Values • Help implement and or execute the marketing plan.
Maintains clinical efficiency at 85% on weekly average.
Completes all documentation in timely manner per P&P manual.
Has more than 90% of patients achieving their LTGs.
Ensures license is up to date as well as state laws and regulations to treat patients.
Obtains 3 success stories per week on google.
Performs 3 chart reviews per month. • Keeps clinical and personal desk space clean.
Reports any problems to clinical director or PCR for swift resolution. • Has on-going communication with all referral sources regarding patient care.
Develops HEP resources and keeps available for therapists and patients.
Completes stat grid daily.
Supervises assistants/aides/techs.
Reports to Clinical Director or Owner.
Requirements & Preferences:

Preferred Sports, ATC, Exercise Physiology, or Exercise Science background.
Must have Sports Background
Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state for which they are applying for work.
Must have graduated from an APTA accredited physical therapy program • Current CPR certification
Exceptional patient therapy skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence • Team oriented.
Experience or certified in: ART, Graston Technique, Kinesiology Taping (Rock Tape Preferred) or FMS™ (If you currently have none, Physical Therapy Now™ will help provide certification at PT’s own cost at PTN special pricing through education partners).
