Director Emeritus Jim Jeffries was recently honored at the Plant City Chamber Salute to Agricultural Luncheon held here on the Festival grounds. Mr. Jeffries received the Tim Cribbs Life of Service Award and we couldn’t think of a better individual to accept this award on behalf of the Cribbs family. His devotion to our fair, the livestock program and the youth in our community is tremendous. Please join us in congratulating Mr. Jeffries on this outstanding accomplishment! 🍓

As the world watches the 2024 Paris , we couldn't help but reminisce on this about our own Olympic strides! 🏃‍♂️ In 1980, Festival officials decided to honor the world's largest sporting organization by declaring the theme,"Champions On Parade," for the 45th annual event. It's back to school soon here in Hillsborough County 🍎📕✏️ and on this 😃 the Festival recently took part in donating headphones to the faculty and staff at McDonald Elementary. We were honored to provide these useful resources to the teachers and administrators who do so much to enrich the lives of youth in our community. We were filled with deep sorrow this week when we heard the heartbreaking news of our dear friend and Country Music Hall of Fame superstar Joe Bonsall's passing. As many of you know, The Oak Ridge Boys headlined our event for decades and whom we consider part of our Festival Family. Please join us as we extend our sincere condolences to his wife and children, bandmates, friends, and fans.

The Florida Strawberry Festival presented the proceeds from its annual Strawberry Ball to the United Food Bank of Plant City, earlier today. Upon arrival, we received a grand tour of their new facility which is set to open some time later this year. We were honored to donate a record-breaking total of $60,550 to UFBPC Director Mary Heysek, her staff, and board of directors. 🍓

PAMSCON 2024 is coming to the Festival grounds TOMORROW! The event will take place in the Teco Expo Hall. Doors open at 9 a.m.!
