Last night was truly special as we had the pleasure of singing alongside the incredibly talented Marmalade Skies Quartet for the lovely residents of Covenant Village,! It was an unforgettable experience, harmonizing together in a septet and mixed quartets. The joy and holiday cheer we brought to the residents' hearts was absolutely heartwarming! 🎶✨💕

Our singing sisters in Bella Quartet have the privilege of representing South Florida Jubilee Chorus by singing at a holiday event by Women Empowering Women. Their mission is to "inspire and empower women in the development, construction, and infrastructure industry by advocacy, connecting, supporting, and unlocking our full potential." Brittany's hardworking and detail-oriented nature shines as she tackles odd jobs, from coordinating grants to lending her expertise to our website. She's the behind-the-scenes magician making things happen! Currently, she is weaving her magic into the show programs for South Florida Jubilee Chorus's holiday show on December 10th.

Her passion for barbershop singing is like a flame that never dims. Brittany's fiery enthusiasm and thirst for music knowledge drive her to seek education opportunities, enriching her skills and sharing with others.

Brittany's barbershop journey began with her first chorus in Region 4, Scenic City Chorus. Even as she spreads her wings and expands her barbershop family, she makes it a point to visit her roots, visiting her friends at Scenic City every time she's in town. Recently, she joined Spirit of the Gulf as a dual member, excited to embrace new harmonies and grow as a singer.

Her commitment doesn't stop there! Brittany is gearing up for an exciting adventure at the Mixed Harmony Brigade of New England in March, showcasing her dedication to exploring and evolving in the world of harmony.

Beyond the quartet, Heather is an inspiring educator, touching the lives of her students with genuine care and passion. Her dedication to teaching spills over into her role at South Florida Jubilee Chorus, where she serves on the Management Team as the Education Coordinator and Choreographer. Her love for teaching and nurturing talent enriches our chorus and makes every note more meaningful.

Heather's ability to embrace her "inner child" and be unapologetically true to herself is a constant source of inspiration. She brings authenticity to our quartet and chorus, reminding us all to celebrate our unique selves.

Kimberly wears many hats with grace and finesse, leading the chorus and small ensembles whenever needed as Assistant Director of the South Florida Jubilee Chorus! Her commitment to our musical journey is unparalleled, and we can't thank her enough for the harmonious magic she brings to our performances.

As if that weren't impressive enough, Kimberly also serves as the current Membership Coordinator for our chorus, tirelessly working to create a warm and welcoming environment for new members. One of the many reasons we're singing her praises is her instrumental role in securing the stunning venue for our upcoming South Florida Jubilee Chorus holiday show and afterglow on December 10th at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center and Checkers Old Munchen. 🎄✨ Rita's knack for making connections opened doors and created a magical space for us to share the season's joy with you.

WHAT A WEEKEND!! We had a blast in Daytona and are very proud of our contest debut. We worked incredibly hard the past four months and enjoyed learning and growing as a unit. We are already looking forward to next year and hope to beat all of our personal goals, as we did this year. We’re exactly one week away from regional competition!! Our dress rehearsal last night was a blast and we can’t wait for all of the fun next week!

Did you know today is BOTH National Barbershop Quartet Day & National Pet Day?! In honor of these special days, we would like to officially introduce you to the Sound of the Keys fur babies! 😁🐱🐶🎙

Hard to believe it’s been a week since our last coaching with James and there’s only 33 days until competition!! 🤩

When your baritone needs help assembling a shelf, you have an impromptu trio rehearsal! It’s a good thing Heather and Brittany were on Spring Break this week 😁

Also, cardboard boxes were definitely harmed in the process by one of our many quartet mascots… Kiwi 🥝 🐶!

What a fun and exciting coaching session with James Kastler! We worked our chords off yesterday and are very excited about our progress on our ballad. We laughed, we cried, and most importantly - we worked together as a unit to support one another. Thank you, James, for constantly pushing us to be our best!

It's hard to believe that Coastal Harmony Region 9, competition is in just seven weeks!

We had a wonderful time at retreat last weekend with South Florida Jubilee Chorus! We are proud to be part of such a fun and talented group of singers. Everyone worked extremely hard together but managed to squeeze in some games, a bonfire, and lots of laughter.

We had our first public debut on Valentine’s Day while spreading the love all around Broward County! It was Brittany’s first time participating in singing Valegrams. Rita had an extra full day by doubling as bass for a fellow quartet whose bass was unfortunately in the hospital. We even got to sing for Heather’s school and a surprise visit to a woman celebrating the 40th anniversary of her first date with her husband! We had a blast and look forward to delivering Valegrams again next year!

We are Sound of the Keys Quartet from South Florida Jubilee Chorus in Coastal Harmony Region 9, Sweet Adelines International! We officially formed in January and are excited for the coming months! Our baritone, Kimberly Heilbrun, and bass, Rita Wells, have sung in quartets for years together. They were thrilled to recruit lead, Heather Elswick, and tenor, Brittany Sloan, to join them and embark on this new and invigorating barbershop rollercoaster!
