Nearly 3.4 billion phishing emails are sent every day. Spotting phishing attacks is crucial to maintaining cybersecurity. Signs of an attack can include: 1) suspicious looking source email address, 2) generic greeting (“Dear customer”), 3) spoofed hyperlinks (hover your mouse over the link to see the destination), 4) poor spelling or sloppy layout, 5) suspicious or unusual attachments (treat all attachments and links with caution).
