Another tree cut up and stacked means another buffet for the clean up crew!

We have some storm damage but nothing compared to our other friends down south. Multiple trees down on fences, one down “over” a power line, and no power. All the animals are okay. The clean up crew has been dispatched and is doing a great job. All in all we did okay!

We are preparing for Hurricane Beryl. That calls for a round bale and the rabbits to be moved inside! Stay safe friends! Our farm friends to the south are In our thoughts and prayers! (Brazos Bottom Bovines Sun and Star Farm Fat Jack Farms) We are expecting the center of the storm to hit us but not at hurricane strength (hopefully)!

We have decided to put our yearling bull Domino up for discussion. He is a great little guy who has a super sweet face! He will make a great addition to a herd and would love some girls of his own! Please message me for more information!

Miss Pearl had a beautiful bull calf yesterday evening! He is the perfect mix of his momma and daddy (Pongo). He is going to be a well built bull and would make an amazing future herd sire! He is up for discussion and will be weaned and ready to go around the first of November. Don’t miss out of this cute little guy! If he is anything like his daddy he’s going to be a big ol puppy dog! Finally made it out to the pasture this evening! We are calling this little heifer Mildred (hubby named her) but Millie for short.

I have been sick all week so porch pictures will have to do! Little miss thing had a quick vet visit Wednesday due to her being lethargic and having a temperature. Some antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds fixed her up! She’s doing great now!

I will work on trying to get some close up pictures this weekend.

You guys! To say I am excited is an understatement! We have our first miniature belted Galloway calf on the ground! I am 98% sure it’s a little heifer! I will post more pictures when she is dried off!

Everyone check out our new arrivals! Oreo thank goodness waited until after the HARD freeze we had to deliver her twin doelings! One is moon spotted for sure and the other we will wait and see! Both have blue eyes and have a 50/50 shot at being polled.
