We understand there has been some concern and confusion regarding the ability of patients with Aetna insurance to use Cass Regional Medical Center and its affiliated clinics. As part of our management agreement with HCA, we participate in HCA’s managed care contracts. HCA has been negotiating its hospital agreements with Aetna for its Medicare Advantage products. HCA has been working with Aetna to reach an agreement that meets the needs of both parties before the current contract expires, and recently reached an extension to continue the current agreement through August 31, 2024.

HCA is still negotiating with Aetna and remains optimistic that they will reach an agreement. Please note that this only impacts the Aetna Medicare Advantage products – our contracts with Aetna commercial products are unaffected.

Cass Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of family nurse practitioner Cali Arbuckle, RN, MSN, NP, to the staff of Pleasant Hill Medical Clinic.

Arbuckle received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mid America Nazarene University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She practices in collaboration with Dr. Pamela Davis.

UPDATE: The Pleasant Hill city inspector has checked the light pole and has given the OK for us to use our main entrance again!

Earlier post: A vehicle struck a light pole in our parking lot this morning. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Due to the pole’s proximity to our front door and waiting area, and out of an abundance of caution, we are routing patients to an alternate entrance until further notice. We also ask that patients please park on the south side of the lot, away from the front entrance, until the situation is resolved. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
