I told you to watch for it and here it is. A twist on the same ginger molasses cookies that I had on my story over the weekend but with a bourbon buttercream frosting. These are to die for! And according to the polls I took, the frosted cookies were the clear winner over the plain. 😍 For me though, I think I’m a plain girl on this one.🩷What do you think?

I was feeling nostalgic for fall last week and decided to try a new recipe. These are ginger molasses cookies from and they are SOOOOO freaking delicious. I never thought I was a molasses fan but now I’m HOOKED! I think these could very possibly make it into my fall line up come November! 😍 And stay tuned for my next post of these beauties but with a twist…….😘

I’ve been a bit MIA this summer, I know. So I thought I’d take a moment to update you on what’s been going on. 🩷

I knew I’d have very limited time to take orders the last couple months but didn’t anticipate sort of falling off social media for a while. 😳 We kicked off the summer with both of my kiddos graduating. One from college and one from high school. 👏🏼 We’ve spent lots of time in the mountains, took a trip to Hawaii, done lots of college dorm shopping and are now currently in Southern California getting ready to move my daughter into her dorm for her first year of college.

To say I’ve been on an emotional rollercoaster is an understatement and has resulted in me not having the emotional bandwidth to focus on cookies for a while. 😢 I do plan to return to cookies on a more limited basis SOON, but through mid-September, I am going to take the time to adjust to all of these changes taking place. Thank you to everyone that continues to inquire about orders. I’m so sorry I haven’t been able to commit these last couple of months. I truly, truly look forward to start baking for you all again very soon! 🩷

Happy first day of school to ALL the kiddos but especially the seniors kicking off their last first day of school! I hope it’s an amazing day and year for everyone! 💙💛💜

This sweet set feels like summer to me!☀️

As most of you know, the last month has been absolute chaos for us but GOOD chaos. 🎓🩷 And while the graduations have come and gone, my calendar, unfortunately, hasn’t gotten any clearer as we dive into summer plans, trips, events and prior commitments.

I am so appreciative to everyone that has recently reached out about placing orders and am so incredibly sorry to turn you down. Think: “mom guilt” and that’s how I feel. 🥺

I do anticipate my calendar to continue to be messy and chaotic through the end of August as we continue with summer plans and prepare to send our youngest off to college.

With that said, please do continue to reach out if you have a need for cookies this summer. I have snippets of time here and there that I may be able to fit in some orders. I just want you all to know how grateful I am for you and how much I appreciate you and every single order you place. I am thoroughly looking forward to getting back into the kitchen this coming fall! 🫶🏼

These incredible students are the ones representing their classmates and school and are responsible for planning and organizing so many of the fun activities that take place. Thank you for all that you contributed and good luck as you embark on your next chapter! 💙💛

We have a Panther in the house! My daughter is Chapman Bound in the fall and we are SO excited!!! 🐾

Congrats to all the 2024 graduates at the University of Nevada, Reno - including my incredible son, .briggs ! 🐺🎓 These kids missed their high school graduation in 2020 and spent their first year of college taking classes in the dorms. Yet…..they persevered, rallied, and overcame! 2024, you are a SPECIAL class! Go do BIG things! 👏🏼

Congrats to all of the 2024 graduates that will be celebrating their milestones over the next couple weeks! But a special congratulations to my daughter .briggss and all of her classmates at Foothill High School. So very proud of these talented and kind hearted students.
