Community Tailgate Party!
Mark your calendars for our first ever PISD Tailgate Party! We will kick off the much anticipated Jourdanton vs. Pleasanton football game with some games, snacks, food trucks and door prizes. Join us from 5:00-7:00 pm on Jolly Street between the Jr. High and the football field for some pre-game family fun. This Title 1 event is free and open to the public.

Spots are filling up! If you know a 1st - 8th grader that would love to dance during the first Eagle Football Halftime Show sign them up and see you tomorrow at the Elementry Gym 😄

Pleasanton Junior High conducted an evacuation drill today during 2nd period.
All students and staff members did an excellent job of following safety procedures during this drill and classes resumed within 5 minutes. Student and staff safety is a priority at PJHS and we welcome parent, student, and staff feedback and questions on our safety practices. Please email [email protected] with any questions or feedback you have related to today’s safety drill. Thank you for helping us keep students and staff members safe!

We have a numerous amount of girls who did not complete their physicals and online paperwork. Paperwork was handed out in April and has yet to be turned in. Students not cleared by the end of next week will be removed from the class.

Junior High Volleyball tryout information:

*Information will be shared with student athletes during the athletic period on the first day of school, August 12th. If the student athlete is not cleared in the Rank One system, she will not be able to participate in tryouts until the proper paperwork has been turned in and uploaded into the system.*

On the first day of school, all athletic periods will be held at the Junior High gym. 7th graders do not need to report to the PAC Sports Complex until Tuesday, August 13th.

JH Athletic Physicals.
All students entering 7th and 8th grade wanting to participate in athletics for the 24-25 school year need to have your physicals turned into the Athletic Dept ASAP.
Turning in your physical the first day of school puts the athlete at risk of not being able to try out for football, cross country or volleyball.
