A heat wave is hitting the Bay Area this week. As the temperatures are expected to be over 100 degrees for much of the week, the City will open formal Cooling Centers from Tuesday, July 2 through Sunday, July 7. For questions during Cooling Center hours call (925) 200-6969.
Water will be available on-site. Senior residents (age 70+) registered with Pleasanton Rides can arrange rides to and from the official cooling center locations, Monday – Friday. Registration in advance is required and can be done by calling (925) 398-1045 or https://ow.ly/iV0650StlRW
