Thank you to everyone who made the 2024 Hike for Hope a success! With the support of our sponsors, participants, and donors, we raised over $100,000 to support our patient care needs and community programs! Enjoy this highlight reel from our rainy but spirited day.
2024 Hike for Hope The Hike for Hope is an annual memorial walk and fundraiser for Hope Hospice (hopehospice.com).
Each and every day, our nurses go the extra mile to provide comfort and compassion for our patients and their families. Jan, the wife of our patient, said it best: “My family and I are so grateful to you for your kind and professional care. The moment our nurse came, we felt that we were all in good hands.” Thank you nurses!
We held our 14th annual Hike for Hope fundraiser on Saturday, May 4, at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore. The event raised over $100,000 to support our community programs including grief support, dementia education, and family caregiver resources. With a spring rainstorm unfortunately in the forecast, half of the 1,200 registrants opted not to come out this year. Yet, 600 supporters showed up in ponchos and other rain gear to hike in memory of their loved ones and to support our mission.
Special thanks to our Inspire Level sponsor, Graham-Hitch Mortuary; our Hope Level sponsors Heritage Bank of Commerce and Vigus and Miller Construction; and MCE Corporation for sponsoring and cooking the barbecue lunch!
