Margerita is a busy and dedicated mother of four yet despite her busy schedule, Margerita has made the decision to further her education, currently enrolled in community college as she works towards obtaining her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.

This admirable goal speaks to Margerita's strong work ethic and desire to expand her skillset, building upon the impressive 14 years of hands-on caregiving experience she has already accumulated.

In her free time, Margerita makes time to indulge in her favorite leisure activities, which include binge-watching her favorite TV shows and movies as well as getting lost in the pages of a good book. Above all, Margerita's top priorities in life remain her devotion to family, cherished pets, and close-knit group of friends, the people who bring her the greatest joy and fulfillment.

Alicie's life has been dedicated to caring for others, both professionally and personally. After studying at Alcorn State University, she embarked on a remarkable 40-year career as a Certified Nurse Assistant and Home Health & Hospice nurse, touching the lives of countless individuals with her warm, compassionate nature.
Alicie's infectious positivity and genuine concern for others have been the hallmarks of her career, as she has consistently described herself as friendly, caring, happy, and big-hearted.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Alicie's zest for life shines through in her diverse array of hobbies - from the thrill of skiing down powdery slopes to the tranquility of a round of golf, and the pure joy she finds in dancing the night away. When she's not working or indulging her active pursuits, Alicie relishes the time she spends with her beloved son and close-knit circle of friends, tending to her yard and immersing herself in the pages of a good book.

After a full filled day at the Alameda County Fair, Inspire Higher is back to volunteering at the SPCA & The Freedom Store. We Salute 🫡 our volunteers for always showing up, and for staying committed and driven to helping the community!

Meet our Team!

I had the pleasure of meeting (AND taking a selfie) with Dr Temple Grandin. Regarded by TIME magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people. Dr Grandin is a scientist, author, a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, and is diagnosed with ASD. Her Emmy award winning biographical film “Temple Grandin” depicts her life channeling her unique gifts into an amazing career in advocacy for people with autism and America’s cattle industry.

Words cannot express how truly proud we are to celebrate Alex for successfully transition into the workforce. After just a few years of attending Inspire Higher, she pursued her dreams of acquiring a job, and is now a employee for the worlds largest online retailer (Her first ever paying job!) Thank you for your trusting our staff & our services.

We commend you for your commitment and dedication in achieving your life’s goals. We wish you all the best and hope you continue to make all of your dreams come true!
