Not sure about you, but I’m happy to say goodbye to the all white trend. Grey’s too! All white seemed so cold and clinical, while greys, (although warmer), still failed to achieve that natural and calming zen like feel.
I’ve always been a fan of black, and you see it more and more, people who are bold enough to use it in interiors, and outside of the home. You can never go wrong by mixing black with natural elements. It’s classic, yet modern, and can transform your home into a place you want to spend time in. This home is the perfect example of the type of sanctuary you can create! The setting also doesn’t hurt! 🌿🗝🖤

Well, that’s a wrap on this great group of girls for now. Many of them are playing highschool for Spring, which is a gentle reminder that Avery will be in their shoes next year! They had a great day of softball yesterday, and we’re even coming in today as the 14u #1 seed in the Circle of Champions tourney in Ripon. Unfortunately due to rain and wind today was cancelled! We look forward to the highschool girls returning in Summer, but are also excited to see what our Spring squad can accomplish! Thank you AASA-Villalobos 14U for all the ❤️ that you’ve put in, and the time and effort you continue to show our girls! ❤️🤍💙🥎

Because Sundays are for football..and what a Sunday it was!! From Cal High to Foothill High we saw some of our favorite boys play, and ended the day with a Niners win and a beautiful sunset! Can’t wait to see the girls on the field! 🏈❤️💛🌄

It’s that time of year again! The 35th year of the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association’s West Coast Nationals! Also known as, one of my favorite times of year! Growing up, my dad had several muscle cars that I had the privilege of being a part of, during both restoration, and enjoyment! That said, seeing this event each year (sometimes a few times a year;) ,are not only nostalgic, but comforting… especially with the recent loss of my father. I will say, Gary VanWegen will live on in me (in many ways), but even more during these local shows in the town I grew up in, and love so much!
If you haven’t had the opportunity yet to check out these amazing cars, and experience the very welcoming rod, muscle, and classic car community…do it!
Trust me, it may just become your own little American made, souped-up, smog exempt little slice of heaven, as it has mine!

So excited for this coming soccer season! Soccer couldn’t be a more perfect sport for this little firecracker with endless energy! So thankful for our amazing Pleasanton community, as this was the 52nd year for this Girls Soccer Club and Soccer Club parade tradition!
Thank you to all the volunteers, staff, and coaches that make these clubs possible for our kids!
Missing our fearless leader Coach Ryan Maas (also a former Foothill Falcon💙⚽️💛) on parade day this year, but I know our girls are more than a little excited for next weekend as we play the first game of the season! ❤️📍⚽️

That’s a wrap on the first week (3 days) of 7th, 3rd and Kindergarten! The girls were no problem, Mason had a ROUGH first day…and yes there were tears, and he had a few too! 😬😂
Love that my kiddos go to the same school that I attended at their age!

George Baljevich was a well known local sports commentator, coach, educator, mentor, and friend to our amazing community. He taught at many local schools such as College of Alameda, Cal State East Bay, St. Mary’s College and the University of San Francisco and 28 years at our very own Foothill High! Being a former (and forever;) Falcon, I had the opportunity to be a student in his classroom, I can honestly say he was one of the best teachers ever! He had such a love of life and his humor was contagious!
Thank you for all that you did for our LOCAL sports community, and for making such an impact is so many young lives! You will be missed Dr. B! 💙💛📍

We were so 💔 when we learned that our favorite Hawaiian Poke restaurant had finally closed it’s doors after the pandemic! Not only did they have THE best, and most beautiful poke bowls, but the owners couldn’t of been any sweeter!
Today, Avery and I chose to venture out and explore an unfamiliar area to us, and just discovered a hidden gem!
We decided to “explore” Hawaiian Poke on Fallon Rd and slowly began to heal our Poke Broke ❤️ (think Achy Breaky Heart by the Marcy Brother’s (original) out of Orville, Chico grad here!) .
It was fresh, delicious, and it slowly started to fill our poke void!
If you haven’t had the opportunity to try Hawaiian Poke on Fallon Rd (Stoneridge Drive will get you there) do it! You can thank us later!
It also doesn’t hurt that the newest .has_the.best.cookies (COMING SOON) location is just nextdoor!
