A new outreach committee is being formed at Valley View and will be organizing periodic donation drives throughout the year of particular items of great need!

We will be collecting items for our fifth graders who will be attending outdoor ed and are in need of the following essentials for that trip: sleeping bags, pillows, flip flops, swimsuits, and hiking shoes or boots.

More information to come on the specific dates and locations of those collections and drop offs, but feel free to email with any questions or if you are interested in being a volunteer and helping out with this committee or these donation drives.

Isabella Pranschke, VV alumni student, will be singing the National Anthem at the A’s game (July 23, 6:40pm, vs. Astros) $32/ticket, ($5 of each ticket sale goes back to VV ODE). Purchase your tickets today! It will be the last time she sings at the Oakland Coliseum!

PTA kicked off our Teacher Appreciation Era today with a yogurt parfait bar in the teachers lounge! Our teachers make the whole place shimmer! 😍
