Falcons, Rebels and Pirates send track and field athletes to state Champlin Park, Park Center and Robbinsdale Armstrong track and field teams were busy at the end of last month with a Northwest Suburban Conference meet and their respective section tournaments

2024 Armstrong graduate Benjamin Fricke has received an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA)! An appointment to USAFA is an incredible honor, and requires a congressional nomination, among other steps. Congratulations, Ben!

State track and field began today. Caitlyn Osanai placed 4th in state in 3200m. Nice job Caitlyn.

Congratulations to our boys and girls track teams for their performance at the section 6AAA track and field meet. Armstrong had numerous student-athletes achieve personal best performances. Congratulations to the state qualifying athletes:

Our Robbinsdale Robins Adapted Athletics program has provided so many opportunities for students to enjoy activities and grasp be a great competitor. Marcus Onsum has been a pillar to the success of the program. His dedication, effort, and time spent organizing programs that will enhance the high school experience is second to none and we are grateful for all he does.

After coaching the Robins P.I. Adpted Athletics Teams for the last 30 years, Coach Marcus Onsum has retired from coaching. Marcus' stated that his 3 kids are all at the age where they have games and activities of their own that he wants to attend (and more time fishing too)! You'll still see Marcus running the scoreboard at home games and helping out with the booster club.

Marcus also serves as the Executive Secretary of the Minnesota Adapted Athletics Association - MAAA and will continue in that important role.

The Robins P.I. teams will be lead by Coach Patrick Dreher and Assistant Coaches Steve Onsum, Grant Brakob & Anna Coleman.

A super solid group of golfers.

Last night we held our team banquet celebrating our season. We saw a lot of improvement this year with an 8th place finish out of 14 teams at conference, and a 5th place finish out of 10 teams at sections, with several new players joining our program. We are excited to see our program growing and improving!

A special thank you to our senior Lizzy Nyoike, we appreciate your time and commitment to our program and wish you all the best on your future endeavors.

What a jam packed spring it has been for Armstrong.

The spring play was another hit as our theater department treated the community to some outstanding shows.

Our Fine Arts department has hosted some jam packed concerts from Band, Choir, and Orchestra.

Our Art department hosted their Art Celebration in the community gym that showcased some phenomenal pieces of work by our students.

Our Robbinsdale Robins finished state runner up in PI Adapted Softball.

Our Falcons finished section runner up in Fastpitch softball. That is two years in a row with exciting finishes.

Baseball, boys lacrosse and girls lacrosse all still are alive in section play.

Armstrong is hosting the section 6AAA track and field meet with finals tomorrow night.

Our boys tennis program provided some excitement all season with some great doubles and singles play.

Our golf teams wrapped up sections today four girls and two guys advancing to the second day.

And we are preparing to honor our seniors at graduation on June 3rd.

Thank you to all that have came out to support our students. They are all something spectacular.

Our Armstrong boys tennis teams sweep Osseo tonight. Varsity wins 7-1 and JV 4-3.

Armstrong High School Applies for Solar Array Grant A senior at Plymouth's Armstrong High School is hoping to make the district more environmentally-friendly by bringing solar panels to campus.

Exciting news! Two additional Armstrong teams have been selected to present their prototype model of a space workstation at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas!

It's adapted floor hockey state tournament week! The #1 seeded Robins open the tournament at 5:00 on Friday, March 8 against South Suburban in Gym A at C**n Rapids High School.
