Help needed now (3:30pm on Friday 5/31):

Hi Meadow Ridge Families! We have received a grant for raised garden beds for Meadow Ridge Elementary. We have a dump of soil that just came coming and need helpers to move the soil to the 6 raised garden beds.

If you and your kid(s) are available to help please head over to Meadow Ridge now with shovels and buckets/wheelbarrows that you could bring to help move the soil that would be much appreciated. More helping hands makes the job go much faster and easier!

Family picnic is this Wednesday! We are still in need of volunteers. Some of the shifts are only 30 minutes. Please consider volunteering.

The last two days have been fun spoiling the MR staff! Soup, salad, breadsticks, sandwiches yesterday for lunch. Today was “Get your hands dirty and build your own dirt dessert” and mini donuts.

What an amazing week celebrating the staff at Meadow Ridge. We are so lucky to have you helping our students grow. 💐🌸 🐝

The tree and decorating are coming together! Getting excited to celebrate the Meadow Ridge Staff next week.

Reminder: have your student/s fill out the leaf/flower that was sent home with them earlier this week.

May 6th-10th we will be celebrating the amazing staff of Meadow Ridge! We have many fun things planned. Your student should have received a packet that included a flyer for the week, a leaf/flower for your student to write a note or draw a picture and directions for the appreciation note. We are very excited for these opportunities to express our gratitude and would love to have as much participation as possible. Also, you can Sign-up to donate something for the staff to enjoy. Wednesday, 10/18 is the last day of Fall Book Fair!

We're open 8:00am-3:30pm.

Every student in our school received a free book this week. It was amazing to see children's faces light up as they got to choose their book and bring it home to keep.

And every teacher in the school received free books for their room.

All sales benefit our school, and our librarian and teachers use the funds to expand school and classroom libraries.

Come and grab some books.

The first day of the Book Fair was great. Thank you to all the families who have come out today to support our school and the kiddos in reading!

We had 18 classes come through today to make their wish lists. And every kid in those classes walked out with a free book due to the school reaching a fundraising goal during Cardinal Crush.

We loved seeing the smiles on their faces!

We'll continue with the book fair on Tuesday and Wednesday. So, if you haven't yet had a chance to stop by, please do so before we pack up.

Tuesday 8:00am - 7:30pm (parents allowed to shop with kids after school dismissal)
Wednesday 8:00am - 3:30pm

Please join us for our next PTO meeting Tuesday October 10 5:30pm via zoom! We will have a presentation from Dr. Chace Anderson, Superintendent of Wayzata Public Schools and information about the upcoming vote to renew a tech levy for our schools will be presented. We also intend to vote on the budget for this year. We hope you can join!
