As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. “ In other words “ wise people should be questioning, encouraging, coaching, and chal- lenging each other. The Best motivators are those we see everyday doing the heavy lifting… They already been where your trying to go. Be careful and read a Bible verse everyday.
Ole saying A verse a day keeps evil away. 🙏🏽✝️💜
Psalm 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
There’s no point in reading and studying the Bible if we don’t become doers of the word by applying scripture to our lives. God’s word is living and active. It’s meant to impact the way we live. But, I know that applying scripture may not be the easiest thing to do. After all, the Bible was written many years ago. Yet, Biblical principles are timeless and still apply to us today. Remember to be kind, Slow to anger Say nice things to someone and always give thanks for everything ….
Our identity as a child of God means that we rely fully on God and trust in His plan for our lives. Just like a little child trusts their parents fully to guide them and protect them when they're little, so should we trust God as we navigate our way through life with Him as our Father. (1 John 3:2)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (1 John 10:10)
Dear God, we thank You for Jesus! He is our light in dark struggles and helps us maintain our strength when Satan plots against us. You are our fortress, and we are always safe in the arms of Your steadfast love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and man. Matthew 6:24
Each of us desires financial security. We require income to insure a home, transportation, and other goods for ourselves and our family. Allowing the desire for material possessions to control us is detrimental to our spirit because we will choose to serve earthly possessions for future gain instead of our Lord and Savior. As Jesus explains, we cannot have two masters because we will devote our hearts to one and not the other. We choose God as our one and only master and submit our lives to His will for us.
Dear God, we are honored to serve You. Thank you for Your love and guidance in all financial matters. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Prayer groups are extremely important for us as individuals and as a community. Through prayer, the impossible is made possible and our daily battles are fought on higher ground. As spiritual friends, we comfort one another through struggles, celebrate joys and bring others to know Christ, our Lord and Savior. Gathering for prayer strengthens our faith and community with one another. Im in the process and working to build a strong foundation for followers to come together and give God praise and worship meanwhile take up a place in your home (anywhere) and dedicate that area to given him glory on a daily routine basis instead of just when the thought cross your mind.
Dear Lord, Guide us to become more intentional about praying together with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We ask your blessing to become stronger spiritually as individuals and as a community. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
