A few important tips to balance your cortisol and melatonin levels are to aim for eight hours of sleep each night. Spend 5 to 10 minutes in the sunshine right away in the morning, and start dimming your lights a couple of hours before bedtime.
Take it up a notch by staying away from your phone or computer screen before bedtime, too!
Life is a journey of constant change and growth. The tough times you're facing now are not permanent. Embrace the uncertainty and keep moving forward. Your strength and resilience will carry you through. 🌱
Did you know that an ultrasound is an important step when considering your options? Here is why:
-Some pregnancies develop outside of the uterus, in the fallopian tube. A limited OB ultrasound or sonogram can help detect an ectopic pregnancy
-Did you know that 10-25% of pregnancies end in miscarriage? An ultrasound can verify if the pregnancy is viable and progressing.
-Determine how far along you are. This will be able to help you get all the facts so you can make an informed decision.
We are here to help you make an informed decision. Call us today to make a free and confidential appointment.

Spotting can be a sign of both early pregnancy and premenstrual syndrome (PMS). The presence of spotting alone cannot definitively confirm pregnancy or PMS.
In early pregnancy, spotting may occur during implantation, typically around 6-12 days after fertilization. Implantation bleeding is usually light and shorter in duration compared to your regular menstrual cycle.
On the other hand, spotting can also be a symptom of PMS. Some individuals may experience light bleeding or spotting before the onset of their menstrual period.
Since the signs and symptoms of pregnancy and PMS can overlap, it can be challenging to determine the cause of spotting without further information or medical evaluation.
If you're uncertain about the cause of spotting, we are here to help provide the answers you deserve.

Miscarriage treatment involves the management of the natural or medically induced process of loss of a pregnancy. It aims to remove the pregnancy tissue and prevent any complications that may arise, such as infection or bleeding. On the other hand, abortion is a medical procedure performed intentionally to end a progressing pregnancy.
Providing women with a safe and supportive environment to make informed decisions about their reproductive health is essential. We are here to offer compassionate care and support during this difficult time.
If you have questions about abortion, think you may be at risk for a miscarriage, or need more information about your pregnancy options, please don't hesitate to contact us.
There are 4 phases to a woman's menstrual cycle. The rise and fall of hormones triggers each of those phases. Knowing these cycles is important because it can help you to either plan a pregnancy or avoid a pregnancy.
1. The Me**es Phase: This is the first day of your period. The uterine lining sheds if you are not pregnant. A period can last anywhere from 3-7 days.
2. The Follicular Phase: Begins on the first day of your period, overlapping the me**es phase, and ends when you ovulate. During this time the pituitary gland releases hormones in the body that cause the uterine lining to thicken and the development of an egg to be released from the ovaries around day 14.
3. Ovulation: The release of a mature egg from the ovaries is when ovulation takes place. This results in the most fertile days of a woman’s cycle to be between days 11-15. A woman may experience a higher s*x drive, discomfort, and breast tenderness during this time.
4. The Luteal Phase: Begins on about day 15 to day 28. Your egg leaves your o***y and begins to travel through the fallopian tubes to your uterus. Progesterone rises to prepare the uterine lining for pregnancy. It is still possible to become pregnant during this time - if the egg becomes fertilized by s***m and attaches to the uterine wall (implantation), you become pregnant. If pregnancy doesn’t occur, the hormone levels drop, and the uterine lining sheds - beginning day one of your menstrual cycle all over again.
