Service and Prices
I rebuild FOX, ACT, RydeFX, HPG, KYB, GYTR, and Walker Evans brands using Amsoil Shock Therapy synthetic shock oil. For normal trail riding rebuildable shocks should be serviced every 2000-3000 miles or once a year if you ride more than 2000 miles a year. I do custom valving starting at $15. Standard shock rebuild rates are only $25 each for all brands that I service. Polaris and Arctic Cat position sensitive rear track shocks are $35 each. Fox, ACT and RydeFX clickers or reservoir shocks are $35 each. FOX Floats are $40 each. All Walker Evans and HPG Clickers are $45 each. I also service Arctic Cat Sno-Pro cross link shocks for $120. RZR FOX Podium 1.5 shocks are $55 each and the 2.0's are $60 each. I do not service the 2.5’s. These prices include oil only, parts are extra if required. Std FOX and ACT seal kits are $15 per shock and $25 for 5/8” shafts. I can repair most ACT and Fox shocks if the shafts or eyelets are bent or broken. The bodies or end caps can be replaced too. This always costs less than a new shock would cost. Turn around is normally 2-3 days from the day I get the shocks and usually only a day or two more if I don't have the parts in stock. I only use genuine FOX shafts and seals. I'm located in Plymouth MN near the intersection of 394 & 494. I accept cash, checks, Paypal and all major credit cards through Paypal for those who need to ship their shocks.
Shipping
Try to remove all the springs as this saves a lot on shipping costs. Loosen the adjuster nut, push the rubber bumper down about an inch and compress the spring by hand and remove the retainer. Remove all the bushings you can so they do not get lost in shipping. Put the shocks in a box with lots of packing material as they get thrown around and will poke a hole in the box if they a packed too loosely. When you shake the box, they should not move around inside the box. For snowmobile shocks the best way to ship is Priority mail if you are within 500 miles and the box is 15 lbs or less. Heavier than 15 lbs and farther than 500 miles and UPS or FedEX ground is less expensive. The best way to ship RZR shocks is Priority mail in a large flat rate box if you are shipping one or two shocks. Two RZR shocks will fit in a large flate rate box that is called board game box. It is 12” x 24” x 3” and costs less than $20. The boxes are free at USPS.com. You can buy your postage there too and transit times are normally 2-3 days. You can even schedule a pick up at you house for the package. If you require a signature, delivery can be delayed by up to a week if no one is available for a signature. For more than two RZR shocks use UPS or FedEX ground. This is a very safe area and I have never had a problem. Send the package to: DLS Enterprises 525 Harbor Ln. N. Plymouth, MN 55447.
