This year Alyssa has been working on learning more about technology and ways it can make our work more efficient.
She's very interested in primitive reflexes and how they play a role in common diagnoses we encounter at school.
Alyssa is:
-learning the ropes of homeownership
-getting married in August
-happiest when spending time with family at their camp, hiking, and horseback riding

The staff spotlight of the week this week features Alyson Messina!
Alyson took her first job with DPS and has been with the company for two years! She is currently working in one school that spans across preschool to 8th grade.
One of her favorite things to do is work collaboratively with other members of the team to problem solve tough situations; she is always learning and growing from others!
A few more fun facts about Alyson:
-She loves working with all students, but the preschoolers are her favorite (don't tell the others).
-She is recently engaged and not-so-patiently awaiting her dream wedding.
-Her favorite season is fall.
-Hobbies include: quoting movies, playing board games, running, cooking with her fiancé, and spending time with people who make her smile!

We're looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of caring, community-oriented therapists!
Job responsibilities include:
● Providing evaluation services, direct intervention, and consultation services for students in grades K-12.
● Understanding of New Hampshire Special Education Law regarding Speech/Language Services is required.
● Provision of case management services to students identified under Speech/Language Impairment
● Writing IEPs given student needs based on evaluation data
● Providing consultation services for students to IEP team members including special education and regular education teachers
Qualifications and Experience:
● Minimum of master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
● Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year.
● Current SLP License for the State of New Hampshire.
