Its been a year!! Time has gone by so quickly, but I have had my real estate license for just over a year now and it is something I want to celebrate. It has been a wonderful journey for me. The outside is always last on the list, but is makes a huge impact. The exterior of this home was so pieced together and also full of garbage… like the rest of the place. 😂but I like the bright white exterior and the left over rock we had from a different project made a great accent!

It’s finally put together!! Swipe to see the after of our front landscape. The best part is that there is nothing to mow! Water wise plants and no grass! I will have to take another pictures” towards the end of summer when it’s all in bloom.

It’s finally warm enough that we can put siding on this home! It has been non stop cold and snow and this home has been sitting for months waiting for siding because I couldn’t be bothered to freeze my a$$ off 😆 it will be white Dutch lap and the front pop out will have a rock accent since there was quite a bit left over from my house! She will be beautiful and I’m sure the neighbors will be glad to be rid of the eye sore 😂.

Its still a great market to sell your home! As interest rates doubled many people think they cant sell their home and make money anymore, well... that isnt the case at all. In fact, many homes have competing offers and price reductions have been minimal, like that home that was WAY over-priced to begin with (you know the one...)

Everyone wants to have equity in their home and you only keep that by maintaining what you have. So I dont care how you do it... by yourself, hire it out, or put those kiddos to work (thats my plan!) but keep that home shinin'

Its so fun looking at homes. We all do it. We constantly look at homes and dream and wonder and brainstorm. But buying any real estate is all about numbers. Purchase price, mortgage payments, insurance, taxes, rents, utilities, down payments, closing cost, ROI.... numbers and more numbers!!!! So get the first number you need to know from a lender, your pre-approval number! And then call me and we will go see those homes!!

Hardwood floors are refinished!! These were some pretty bad floors but I couldn’t cover them up with carpet when they deserve new life! Now that the flooring is in only a few more things to finish before this home is ready!!!

Thank you!!! My children have such great teachers and I am so thankful for them!! I can't believe we are 100 days into school. Thank you to all my teacher friends out there making an incredible difference in the lives of our children. Your work is not easy, but it is greatly appreciated. 🍎

Almost everyone wants a move in ready home. Why is this important to know? Loans can be confusing, but there are a few factors that go into getting the best interest rate. While all of us would love to be CASH buyers, that isn't always possible. While fixing credit and saving for a down payment definitely lower rates, it is important to consider other factors as well. There are some great loan programs right now that help home buyers, and NOT just first time home buyers. If you would like more information on different types of real estate loans lets chat!

I have been asked this question quite a few times last year. With rising interest rates and home prices going higher nation wide, many people want to know what to do? Do they keep renting or do they buy a home? It really is a great question to consider. If you move often to different areas buying may not be for you. But... If you are planning on staying in an area for an extended period of time, buying is usually the best financial decision. Buying allows for more personal freedom, as well as tax benefits, and long term equity.
