Duck and Cover!!! Nerf war games today. The best was when Sister Joann had a battle with her residents. I’m still not sure who the winner was though. What I do know is that Kevin shooting HR from the top of his cabinet is priceless. And Andy’s face as he demolished poor Jerrica- wow! It was a fun day! Don’t worry- people left me alone, since I confiscated any darts shot at me and then told them all to get back to work. Someone needed to be the responsible adult today.

Momma Teri and Lisa B are at it again! Just cultivating kindness and planting flowers. We love these ladies so much. They not only make sure that our building looks pretty, they also take amazing care of our staff!

Andy was the winner of the Hot Wheel Car Race. We sure did get creative with the track!

Our amazing Activities Director, Jordan Henley, designed our shirts for Nursing Home Week. The theme is “Cultivating Kindness.” We wanted to show how each of our staff members are crucial in the success of our facility. Each person is needed! We are stronger and better together. We love this team!!!

We wrapped up our 2nd week celebrating our staff Aloha style. A special shout out to our wonderful nurses who care for our residents with all their heart. We are truly blessed with an amazing group of people at Monte Vista. 💜❤️💚

Fundraiser Time!

We are hosting a co****le tournament to raise money for our Culture Committee here at Monte Vista Hills. Culture committee is necessary to provide our employees with rewards, incentives, and activities to ensure our employees are taken care of just as well as our residents.

The tournament will be on July 1st and will begin at 1:00 p.m. The cost to enter is $40 per team ($20 per person). There will be a 2 game guarantee. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. The best part is: THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR 1st, 2nd, and 3rd PLACE!

We are celebrating Nursing Home Week all month long. Things started out a little Wacky, but we had lots of fun!

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt was a success!!!! We had over 7000 eggs and they were all found within 12 min. Candy eggs, prize eggs, and money eggs. One of the best eggs hunts in town🐣🐰

Alright ladies and gentleman, the time has arrived!

I’m so very grateful to be a member of a team that loves our residents so much. We are always learning from one another. I joined Monte Vista right before the Covid Outbreak. I didn’t have any idea what I was getting myself into. I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of my family at Monte Vista. I want to wish all of my Monte Vista peeps a very Merry Christmas! I love and appreciate all that you do. ❤️ Lisa Winans
