But, whether we learn or not depends a lot more on us than on the outside world.

Let’s reflect on how you process the “uncomfortable new”?
🔹You are driving and you’re not sure where you are. - Are you lost or did you find a new place?
🔹There is a new project at work and you don’t understand it. - Do you reject it or do you ask questions?
🔹 A client is making a request outside of the regular process. - Do you refuse the service or do you look for ways to satisfy the need?
🔹 A new co-worker brings up a completely novel idea. - Do you ignore it (they are new, they don’t know) or do you explore it?

“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear” indeed!

What is the most powerful tool for POSITIVE change?



That’s it!

Why do you do what you do?

Have you ever really thought about it?

Clarity for your purpose, in small actions and big dreams, is the most important activator for hard work, discipline, grit, love, and ultimately, success!

God has put in all of you! All of you have incredible gifts and abilities.
❓The question is: Are you using them?
Are you applying yourself to the work you do, with passion and purpose?

🔴If you don’t know the purpose, the answer is NO.

🟢If you know the , and you connect deeply with it, your commitment, resilience and drive will be limitless! Because that purpose will define your meaning!

Let’s reflect on the initial question.
Why do you do what you do?
Are you clear?
Do you need answers from others?
Do you need help to connect with the purpose?
Do you see the vision?
Are you excited about the possibilities ahead, and eager to pave new roads?
Are you questioning it?

🔹The purpose in front of you is for you. And it won’t happen the same way without you!
🔹The hard work in front of you is for you. And it can be achieved the same way without you.
🔹The problem in front of you is for you. And it can’t be solved the same way without you.
🔹 The person in front of you is for you to love. And they won’t be loved the same way without you.

When you understand the purpose and apply your talents to build it, you become a change maker! You become a better leader!

What are you most concerned with?

Most people I talk to, who open up deeply, share that they are concerned about what others think of them, that others would ridicule them or even bet on their failure!
This is real for people and to be completely honest, at times it’s even real for me.

What if you changed what you think others would say or do?
What if you believed they would encourage you?
What if you knew they would have your back and support you?
What if they actually wanted you to succeed and are betting on you?

Would you speak up then?
Would you do that crazy thing then?
Would you go after your dreams then?

See, the limiting belief is in your own thinking. Change your thinking and it will change your reality!

Let’s explore a couple industries and their trends:

- in Healthcare, the Doctors get the most recognition, however a Surgeon is not successful without the Anesthesiologist, operating room crew, back office support …

- in Business, we see awards for the Best Sales Producer, or a successful CEO, but they wouldn’t be as successful without the backing of the team …

When recognition is given to everyone who it belongs, the energy and continued dedication will produce unimaginable results.

Instead of having a mindset of “only the best”, adopt a mindset of “all the best”.

You might say: ‘But Ana, I don’t have the time for all this!’
I would answer: ‘You make time for what you truly value.’

What is the direct and collateral impact of leadership?

Imagine these two senarios:

1. You work for a company that doesn’t have strong leaders. You go to work, do your job, get great results. Every minor mistake you make is blown out of proportion, you are not valued and there is a management by fear approach.
You go home feeling frustrated, insignificant and stressed. Your own health is affected and your capacity to be the best dad or mom for your own family is low. Your emotionally, mentally and physically spent. Your impatient with your loved ones, you are not complimenting them, you are critical and firm.Tthat has an effect on how they treat their peers, teachers and so on. The ripple effect of bad leaders is deep and wide and it spills way outside of the company walls and it could affect many generations. Bad leaders build a bitter world!

2. You work for a strong organization with great leaders. There is an open environment where you are encourage to work hard, experiment with new ideas, fail and learn and there is a high level of appreciation. You feel fulfilled everyday because your get to make an impact and you are valued.
You go home with your energy tank full and you are emotionally, physically and psychologically ready to be the best mom or dad you can be. You teach your loved ones to work hard and to not be afraid to try things out, even if they don’t work out. You encourage them to learn and you celebrate their big and small wins. They approach all their relationships open and positive and they treat their peers, teachers and the community at large in a rich way. The ripple effect of great leadership is unimaginable and it spills over generations and communities. Great leaders build a better world!
