Hello everyone! Brian will be off on 8/30 and 9/6, so his meet and greet will resume on 9/13.

Greetings everyone! IMPORTANT! In light of the rapidly-spreading Delta Variant of COVID-19, Canada House Board and Management will now immediately require masks that entirely cover the nose and mouth to be worn while in any enclosed common area of the resort (lobby, elevators, linen exchange, etc.). Staff will be unable to assist guests and owners who fail to wear masks or facial coverings. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the safety of our owners, guests, and staff is, and has always been, our highest priority.

Today is National Ice Cream Day! Enjoy it at Kilwins, which is now part of the Pompano Beach Fishing Village located just 1-1/2 miles south of Canada House!

What is going on? Beautiful summer day with no rain (for the first time in a while), 2 days before the 4th of July, a packed resort, and the pool is empty??? Get out here, or else the Operations Manager will feel compelled to jump in himself (button up shirt and all) because this is too nice to sit empty! If two more people comment "do it" within 50 minutes, he will jump in the pool fully clothed on Facebook Live. Where are you?

Brian will be off next Monday, July 5th so there will not be a Meet and Greet that day.

We have some news! Owners and guests who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear masks in common areas of the resort. Management is asking guests who are not fully vaccinated to continue to wear masks in the lobby, elevator, linen exchange room, laundry room, and other common areas, and to practice social distancing with guests not in the same party and while interacting with staff. "Fully vaccinated" means having one J&J shot, or two shots from another manufacturer, AND at least two weeks since the last shot.

This sounds really cool! And only a mile north of Canada House!

Shipwreck Park's newest exciting endeavor has just been announced via cover story in the latest issue of Pompano! magazine. Plans are well underway for Wahoo Bay - an interactive underwater marine park coming to Hillsboro Inlet. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the importance of keeping our oceans and reefs healthy and thriving in an entertaining, educational and memorable way. This underwater experience will preserve and enhance existing natural resources and add environmentally friendly interactive art, live lab experiments and educational displays. The in-water experience will stimulate all five senses and be accessible to anyone young and old, able-bodied or disabled.
