Artist Deborah Silver Enlisted the Power Station Team to record her 17-Piece big band at Miami's Criteria Studios!

Yes! Power Station went on a field trip to record the live 17-piece band which was produced, arranged, and conducted by Charles Calello! What a fun time. Trombones, Trumpets, Saxophones, and even a Tuba and Clarinet! Accompanied by an amazing rhythm section. We brought the live tracks back to Power Station to overdub some Hammond B3 and some other instruments then off to vocals and mix! Deborah is such an amazing artist. Super talented and always so much fun to work with! Thank you Deborah for having us a part of this amazing production!!!

Power Station Studios Celebrates its 20th Anniversary!

Power Station in Pompano Beach turns 20 today! It’s hard to believe what started out as a private studio could have become the commercial recording facility that it is today.
20 years ago today, Power Station began its very first recording session with some close friends for the “No End” project.

Our little studio has managed to grow, overcome things like recessions and worldwide pandemics only to become one of South Florida’s premier recording facilities.
This journey was only possible because of the “people” that surround our studio everyday. We have been asked over the years, “How did we get to where we are today?” The answer is always and will always be, “It’s because of the people!!!”

We want to take a moment and thank all the artists, musicians and clients that have passed through our doors. All of which have become more than just friends, but became part of our family! I also want to thank the Power Station Staff. Without them, there would be no Power Station. The passion and dedication of our team of engineers, assistants and interns are what make our studio so special.

What has 20 years of studio service taught me? That everything is always about “people”! That will always be the fundamental mission statement for Power Station Studios!

Throughout the last 2 decades, we’ve accomplished the impossible. We started with one studio room, added a second studio room and even managed to update these 2 rooms over the years to epic proportions. Studio A now features the legendary Rupert Neve 9098i, and Studio B now offers the most advanced hybrid digital studio with complete analog and digital compatibilities.

We are very proud of what we have managed to accomplish in these past 20 years. We hope to continue for another 20 and more.

Once again, we thank you all for being a part of our family and an active part in our daily lives.
