On stage at The Improv Comedy Club, Dr. Melissa Pigott, Magnus’ Director of Research, presented "Jurors Say the Darndest Things" to the RIMS Broward County Chapter, April 17, 2024. The frighteningly funny CLE/CE program illustrates mock juries in action. The program uses video clips to demonstrate groups struggling with what are usually complex and high stakes cases.

Dr. Melissa Pigott, Magnus’ Director of Research, will present "Jurors Say the Darndest Things" to the RIMS Broward County Chapter, April 17, 2024.

Jurors have the ability to surprise, shock, and amaze your trial consulting team. In the jurors' efforts to get to the heart of a matter, they decide the issues in ways that surprise. Magnus has compiled some interesting discussions in this presentation to demonstrate how the jurors reached their decisions. While some of the discussions are humorous, the ramifications were usually serious for the trial teams involved. Dr. Pigott will explain the context and implications of the deliberations shown in the video clips during this presentation.

We attended as a show of support for our friend/client Michael Freed of Gunster who was honored for his Freed to Run philanthropic marathon program. Run Mike Run - you inspire many!
