It is our honor to present this project, initiated and implemented by an extremely talented specialist, Sarahca Peterson, and numerous industry specialists involved in the project, dedicated to the unique cultural traditions of our community. Calling all writers! Enhance your creative writing skills and connect with fellow writers during Lunch with Art: Weekend Writer's Edition at the Ali Cultural Arts on July 20 from 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm. This FREE monthly program, held every 3rd Saturday, features all genres, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and screenwriting.

Led by the nationally recognized Spoken Word Poet Charles Hines, you'll receive prompts, feedback, and participate in group discussions to help expand your talents. No prior experience required!

Charles Hines has been doing poetry professionally for ten years and is a Slam Madness 2023 second place runner-up and the Southern Fried Poetry Slam 2023 third ranked indie poet. He’s also part of the Growhouse Tampa arts collective and the Found Family Collective board, creating artistic spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.
