Ok, so just an update for those of you that are still confused of the new Permit less carry law in Florida. As I mentioned in my last post, NOT OPEN CARRY. Must be concealed. And none of the laws have change.

But some of you might not know, there is a Federal law prohibits you from traveling through a school zone with a firearm unless you have a permit. Within a 1000 feet of the property of the school. That’s a good distance. Federal law is up to 1yr in jail and a $5000 fine. So think about what you have to go through if you don’t have a permit and you get pulled over. Just something to think about.

Hello everyone. Now that the new gun law is in effect, I wanted to reach out to everyone and explain some things you might be confused on. This new law is NOT open carry. The laws for Concealed Weapons Permit DONT CHANGE. it is NOT open carry.
The concealed weapons class that I have been teaching for many yrs is not ONLY to receive your permit. This class was designed to show you Florida law and what not to do. Sooooooooooo, if you want to still get your permit you can come take this class. You want to do the new law, permit less carry, I recommend you take this class. You don't have to apply for the permit to take this class. I don't care if you have a permit or not. I care what do you do with the gun when you have it. That is what this class is designed for.
