🚨 State Road 16 will be temporarily closed between Lewis Speedway and Ponce De Leon Boulevard from Saturday, May 4 - Tuesday, May 7 for improvements to the railroad crossing. 🚂 This is part of the Florida East Coast Railway project aimed at enhancing safety.

🚧 During this time, the sidewalk will also be closed, so please plan accordingly. 🚶‍♂️For your safety, bicyclists and pedestrians won't be allowed to cross the railroad. 🚴‍♀️

📆 Keep in mind that the reopening schedule may shift due to unexpected factors like bad weather.

Duval Beach Renourishment UPDATE +++ The USACE Jacksonville team has established a staging area at the 16th Ave. South beach access and continues mobilizing equipment for beach renourishment. Please watch for and comply with locally posted parking and access restrictions. Sand placement on the beach is expected to begin on or about April 23.
