Happy Presidents’ Day!! What a beautiful sunny morning here in Florida! This breakfast room gets lots of natural light flooding in for the perfect spot to have your bagel bagel and coffee. In this case…aka photo shoot it was a cantelope kind of day!! We removed dated beams, added the lime wash pecky cypress and of course new chandelier and furnishings…we were super excited about the way it finished up!!

A little outdoor room love this Saturday morning! This is a newly remodeled pool area we have “almost” finished…so close !!! Great spot to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee and seeing the stunning wildlife …white pelicans, herons, gators and birds of all types….or a glass of wine in the evening watching the sunset…stunning!

Loving how the light is plunging in on this incredible new family room we just completed! I am so excited to see Jessie Preza’s shots from our photo shoot here last week!! This room used to be an under utilized living room….it has since been converted to an inviting, bright and happy family room with an amazing view of a newly remodeled luxury pool that overlooks the golf course…SWEET!!! We are so obsessed with these oyster prints!!! Loving that our client is enjoying it so much!! Thankful!

We LOVE when old meets new….for example in this new build spec home we designed for Faver Gray Homes where we used old reclaimed beams, old French doors as pantry doors, and paired with new luxury appliances, fabulous lighting, cool wine storage and the results become a inviting great entertaining kitchen!! Team work = Dream work!!! Love working with these guys!!

Here is a peek of a sweet bunk bed we just completed:). Not sure who loves the custom bunk beds more…NPI, our clients or their friends children!! Lol…LOTS OF SLEEPOVERS!! Lots of giggles and laughter and memory making happening here!

Check out this client’s new den/second guest bedroom! This Lee daybed has a trundle pullout for extra sleeping options! It is cozy and welcoming! The knotted woven rug really grounds the space and pairs well with the natural wood framed art and beautiful beam!!! Life is good and we are GRATEFUL for wonderful clients that trust in us! Thank you all for your patience as we all learn to “wait” for what we have ordered! We appreciate you and we appreciate our followers and their kind comments!

We added the brick veneer and painted it white, designed the custom wall unit, made the exotic fan shadow boxes, and all new furnishing…great place to hang in on a Friday night with another couple !!!

At Nesting Place Interiors we often quote that the lighting and cabinetry hardware are the “jewelry of the home” and in this new primary suite it’s no exception! These sconces, these mirrors and the brass hardware….YES…you had me at brass 😍 Love how this bathroom remodel turned out….not to mention the STUNNING FLOOR….giddy!!

Who is ready for a little warmer weather???? WE ARE!! Throw back Thursday takes us to a beautiful outdoor pavilion addition we designed and built a few years back now. I STILL LOVE THIS TODAY AS MUCH AS I DID THEN…best part…SO DOES THE CLIENT. They are so sweet in checking in annually and letting me know how much they use and enjoy their new addition. The stone fireplace, incredible beams, and pretty railing all add a warmth to this screened in porch! The built in banquettes are a perfect spot to snuggle up and read a great book! So excited for this little girls nursery!! This client just got a surprise so we had to change a few design ideas and voila now we will have a nursery in lieu of a playroom:)
This room will be light , calming, sweet with a little nostalgia thrown in. We are smitten over the artwork that became out inspiration…that and we designed the “playroom/den” with custom pillows in the hues in the main fabric so we switched things up and found this stunning fabric to bring in all the same hues….super excited!!!

Check out this new family room we just completed…it turned out bright, ethereal, graceful and comfortable all in one….we kept the palette very neutral so the ocean views took center stage…

Just completed this kitchen ....yes, We love symmetry!!! We also love beams, beautiful quartzite, stunning pendants, cool hardware, pretty faucets and painted brick!!! This was a spec home we designed for Faver Gray Homes...they were the perfect partner on this project as they were just as excited as we were to add in all these textures and details! So do y’all think this is just a blue credenza? Nope...it is a custom dog crate that can accommodate two dogs!! Practical and functional can be good looking...just ask any designer:). Happy Tuesday!

Well it is Friday???? So of course I am posting a fabulous custom bar we just completed. We are obsessed with these beautiful custom doors and love how the gray cabinetry pairs so well with the beautiful marble countertop! The little trough sink and wall faucet complete the space nicely! The homeowners will be having their first happy hour here this evening!!!! Fri-yay!

Check out this pretty bathroom we just completed! This is “her” bathroom and we love how feminine it feels...from the stunning marble floor tile, to the elegant mirror and simply stunning sconces down to the decorative marble backsplash. What do you think?

Last morning at Barefoot Bungalow....all good things must come to an end! We had a wonderful girls week away here with lots of laughter, wine, walks on the beach, biking in St Augustine, guitarist/singer at the house, work outs in the sand, boat rides and an incredible massage therapist to finish up the week....we crammed a lot in this week and can’t wait to do it all again same time next year! Above is a pic of the bunk room complete with twin xl’s...and a perfect reading nook! Wishing our gram fam lots of fun vacation days this summer to be shared with loved ones all while making many memories!!!!!❤️❤️❤️

How about a little drama in your dining room...here we started with the artwork and then decided to take advantage of this ceiling by adding tongue and groove and then paint it charcoal black...love it...add in a textured chandelier and call it a day! We were super happy with the end results:) coastal, refined and yet approachable.
