Itips vs Microlinks Let’s chat about it! So I often get asked what’s the difference. Itips are considered an individual method. This method gives you 360 degree movement. This method feels the most natural and gives you the most versatility. This method can last up to 16 weeks. Microlinks use a weft. The weft is attached to the scalp using a small bead. This method uses a up and down motion. Gives a natural look and feel. Last up to 12 weeks. Each of these methods require in salon maintenance. We recommend these methods to our clients who want to enhance their natural hair length, texture, and volume. These methods are not considered protective. If you are looking for a protective style, we advise you to consider one of our sew in techniques. 💕 but we love them ALL! Which one are you rocking 👀

Ok so let’s chat! In my opinion these are my top 3 tips to combat hair loss and have healthy hair. As someone who has suffered from hair loss 😩 these have been truly helpful for me and the gang. 1) You are what you eat! Your diet plays a HUGE roll in the health of your hair. If your body is not receiving what it needs to create those luxurious strands that we all want, it will show! Your body needs a healthy diet to create healthy hair. 2) Low manipulation is key. Find styles that you love that don’t take much. I tell my clients often to find a low manipulation style that they like and can pull off easily for those days when you are waiting to get back to the salon. A low bun, a braid out, flat twist, these are all great options. 3) Don’t skip the deep conditioning! This step is vital. This gives those strands the moisture that it needs to stay healthy and strong. When hair is hydrated, it doesn’t break easily. We love brands that cater to textured hair such as Camille rose, Texture ID, and the Doux. Hope this helps 💕

Let’s chat! So I get a lot of questions when it comes to the install methods we offer here at the studio. One of the most asked questions we get is “is it a protective style?” The only protective styles we offer at the studio is our versatile sew ins as well as our express extensions (quick weave). A protective style has some or all of your natural hair put away or “protected” on braids, a cap, or a ponytail under your extensions. With inter grated extensions, the natural hair and the extensions live together. So none of your hair is put away. The extensions are blended and matched to the texture of your natural hair to make this install look seamless. This method usually uses some form of beads, tape, or adhesive. You can always book a consult to see what methods is best for you and your life 💕

We’ve found that when the hair doesn’t blend, the install doesn’t last. We want to make sure your hair looks and blends amazingly, even when your not fresh out the salon!
