Yesterday was a special day, leap day 🐸 and we celebrated it in style! When we got to school there were frogs in all our classrooms 😊 Every student got to find and collect one frog each. Our staff had a yummy snack, a frog on a log 😋 and Mrs. Gonzalez provided us with a sweet drawing of Freddy the frog. It was a great day. 💜

Bike-a-thon day is always such a special day. It was nice to see so many parents, grandparents and family friends come out to support these kiddos. Thank you so much to the Genesis staff and teachers that helped make today so much fun! 💜

We had an amazing time this morning in both our chapels. Just a reminder Big Blast ministries will be at Genesis Christian Church tonight at 6 PM, fun for the whole family and they’ll be ice cream afterwards.

GCS will be closed Tuesday January 9th. We have decided to close because of all the weather warnings and not needing to be out in what could be hazardous driving conditions.

Each Wednesday during chapel we take an offering. We call it change of children 💜 This year the monies collected will go to Homeless Collation as we partner with Genesis Church to help bring joy to the children there. We were able to present ten $5 give cards to Pastor Loney and he will be hand them out next week. We are all excited to be a small part of bringing Gods love to our community.

Open House is an excellent way to connect with your child’s teacher and to drop off all those school supplies. 😊 It is also a great time to get the information you will need to have a great start to the 2023-2024 school year. 💜

Perseverance, prayer, patience and a lot of hard work has gone into the events of this week. The new school building/buildings started arriving on Tuesday and the crew has been working hard ever since. The dream of a new school building has been yearssss in the planning. There is still a lot of work ahead but progress is being made and we can’t wait to see the classrooms filled with students smiling faces soon! 💜

Oh boy, May has been a busy, exciting, eventFul month. We have so many fun memories and videos to share. This video tracks our K4 class from the first days of school to nearly the last day. (Graduation video will be shared soon). We already miss these kiddos so much! 💜

Our K4/VPK student’s graduated today. 🎓 Here is a little video of their year, it’s amazing how fast they grow. 💜 We will miss them but we are so happy we will see most of them again in August when they start kindergarten!
