BEFORE/AFTER of a new high efficiency Rheem furnace paired with a domestic Navien hot water heater🪄🧞‍♂️If you’re wishing for longer lasting hot water, a Navien unit is what you’re looking for. Unlike traditional tank water heaters that store and heat a limited amount of water at a time, Navien's tankless water heaters never run out. This means as long as there is a demand for hot water (like during a shower or when using appliances), the Navien unit will continue to heat water as it flows through the system, effectively providing a continuous supply of hot water.

One of our latest installations showcases an oil-fired boiler paired with an indirect water heater—maximizing energy use and minimizing costs. Also see the older system it replaced, which is a significant upgrade in both performance and efficiency. 🧡🛠️

If your gutters are clogged and the water within them freezes, your condensate drain can freeze as well, preventing your heating system from working properly. A lot of HVAC companies will use elbows on this drain line (seen here), but over the years Kintech has realized this can cause more headaches and this is a perfect example. We removed the elbow allowing the system to drain (and not freeze) and our customer is now back up and running.
